423.Solutions Daily (GREATNESS BY GRACE) date.23.9.2016. 1Co 15:10 “But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.”

Grace is the mystery behind great achievements in Christ and for Christ. God’s grace upon your life produces outstanding results in areas where you have obvious deficiencies and disadvantages. This is one of the most beautiful manifestations of the grace of God.

The Apostle Paul did not have the privilege of being physically mentored by Jesus. He was not among the original twelve or even the seventy. He was not in the upper room when the Holy Ghost fell on the day of Pentecost. While these great events and processes were preparing others for impactful ministries, he was busy as a bigoted Pharisee; running on a different lane.

Yet, before it was all over, this late comer had written two thirds of the New Testament epistles, and he had also done more than all the others in advancing the gospel into the gentile world.
How did he do these? It was by the grace of God.

In almost thirty years of operation in leadership and in ministry, I have seen a wonder so consistent and amazing in the body of Christ. It is not the most connected, the most educated or the most naturally qualified that produces the most results, but the most graced!
When a man or a woman is specially graced by God to produce certain results, you will be foolish to attempt to compete with him there. His results would be outstanding, amazing and beyond human ability.

The overflow of God’s grace in your life can take away the limitations of not enough education, not enough connections, not enough experience and cause your results to be outstanding.

Confession: I am what I am by the grace of God. I am becoming more effective, more impactful, more outstanding everyday as I abound more and more in the grace of God. Grace has made me what I am today.

406.Solutions Daily (THE SPIRIT OF GRACE 2) date.6.9.2016. Hebrews 10:29 "Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under-foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?"

One of the worst sins a Christian can commit is to despise the Spirit of Grace. Notice in the passage above, that the letter S in the word Spirit is a capital letter, indicating the word is referring to the Holy Spirit; the third person of the Godhead.
If you tread under foot, Jesus the Son of God, there is no other savior to save you. If you refuse the blood of Jesus, there is no other means of sanctifying you and saving you. And if you despise the Holy Spirit, who else is going to help you?

It is important to honour and reverence the Spirit of grace, and not to take the grace He brings to us for granted. With Him, there is nothing we cannot do or accomplish. Without Him, there is nothing we can do by ourselves.
A great evidence that one is not walking in the spirit of grace is, when you see a person who seems to understand so much of the grace of God, but is an enemy of Christ by living in blatant sin. It shows that they have the letter of the word concerning grace, but they do not know the person of Christ intimately. Christ is the spirit of grace!

Information about grace without a relationship with Christ only produces a man or woman who sees every revelation of grace as an opportunity to multiply sin. This is a slippery slope, and can ultimately lead you back to hell.
1 Corinthians 8:1-3 "...Knowledge puffeth up, but charity edifieth. And if any man think that he knoweth any thing, he knoweth nothing yet as he ought to know. But if any man love God, the same is known of him." Do not allow your so-called knowledge of grace be the reason your love for God waxes cold because of incessant iniquity.

Matthew 24:12 "And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold."
That is why Paul warns in our mediation passage: Hebrews 10:30-31
"..The Lord shall judge his people. It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God." And in Hebrews 10:39, "But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul."

Confession: I walk in the Spirit of grace. I have an unlimited capacity to please God. I reverence the Spirit of grace. I have intimacy with God. I am of them that believe to the saving of the soul!

401. Solutions Daily (LOVE IS WHAT YOU DO) date.31.8.2016. Mat 25:45 “Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.”

The New Testament is very clear. Love is the highest of all virtues. Love is the greatest. Love is the nature of God, the nature of the saints, the command of the New Testament, and our greatest victory. Seeing the prominent place the love walk occupies in God’s scheme of things in the New Testament, many resort to projecting themselves to be lovers of God’s people, so that they would have respect with men. The bottom line however is that love is not as much in what we profess, as it is in what we practice. Love is what you do.

“1Jn 3:18 My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.”

Jas 2:13-16 “For he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath shewed no mercy; and mercy rejoiceth against judgment. What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him? If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food, And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit?”

Whatever you do to the people of God, you are doing it directly to the Father
Himself. It’s so easy to touch the heart of Jesus negatively or positively.
When Saul hurt his people, He said to him: “…Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?”Act 9:4. When you begin to bless his people in practical ways, He is likely to say to you, “My son, my son, why are you such a blessing to me.” And when you have that encounter, great blessings will follow. This is the new world.

Confession: I do not love by words alone. I am practical. I love by the things I do. I am a doer of love, not a mere talker. I produce real result that can be seen. I am supernatural.

397.Solutions Daily (LOVE AND THE ANOINTING) date.27.8.2016. Mat 9:36 “But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd.”

Are you zealous for spiritual gifts? Do you want God to use you greatly? Do you want the anointing of God to rest upon your life and function through you? Love is the key. Jesus had the greatest anointing upon His life and ministry because He was always moved with compassion at the plight of humanity. Compassion is love mixed with faith; love mixed with a desire to reach out and help. This is what moved Jesus to heal the sick and cast out devils. He is the Lord of the harvest; and He is still looking for men and women who will reach for His anointing to continue the works He was doing. He is looking for those who love humanity like He does, who are moved with compassion when they see lost and broken humanity and who desire to use the power of God to help them out.

The nine gifts of the Holy Spirit and the ministry gifts in 1st Corinthians 12, represent the power God has released to us to use to help our generation. Many want the power just for show, or to prove a point to others. But Paul said most the most excellent way to the gifts and graces of God is love.

“But earnestly desire and zealously cultivate the greatest and the best gifts and graces (the higher gifts and the choicest graces). And yet I will show you a still more excellent way (one that is better by far and the highest of them all – LOVE).” 1st Corinthians 12:31AMP

Some are hindered from receiving miracles from an anointed man or woman of God because they do not love the man or woman. You cannot effectively receive from a man you are constantly criticizing and tearing down. (Mark 6:1 – 6). Others want impartations of the anointing from their leader. But they do not truly love him. No one loved Moses like Joshua. He got the anointing without asking for it. The same goes for Elisha and Elijah, Paul and Timothy. Eye service may impress the man, but only true heart – love draws God’s power from a man of God to you.

Confession: I love humanity. I am moved with compassion to use God’s power to help them. I love my pastor. I love anointed servants of God, so, my life attracts the anointing. Amen.

396.Solutions Daily (IT TAKES LOVE TO LEAD)date.25.8.2016. Eph 5:25,23 “Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the savior of the body.”

Leadership must be seen as a privilege, if not it will be abused. You cannot truly lead a person or a people you don’t love. Any attempt to do so this will make you an oppressive and an abusive leader.

The reason a lot of marriages are having problems today is because the men try to be the head in their homes without first laying the foundation of sacrificial love like Jesus did. Jesus qualified to lead us because He sacrificed all for our sakes. A husband who is over flowing with sacrificial love tends to be a wise and sensitive leader. That is why the Bible says, husbands love your wives as Christ loved the church.

A pastor must love his flock in the same way if he is to lead them properly. You cannot effectively minister to a people you do not love. You will become a ‘hireling’ on the pulpit if you do not love God’s people that you lead. You will use the Bible to manipulate them just for selfish benefits unless you allow love to be your greatest motivation.

The ultimate call of the body of Christ is to lead society. John Maxwell said, “Leadership is influence.” We are to be the light of the world, a city set on a hill. This is influence. We cannot powerfully influence a community or a society we do not love. God so loved so loved the world, and so should you. Do no love the things of the world, but you have to love the people.

Joh 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son…”
1Jn 2:15 “Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world….”
Our impact on society will become irresistible when love becomes our most dominant trait and motivation.

Confession: I am the light of the world. I am like a city set on a hill. I am an influencer. I am a leader. I major on love, so, my impact is irresistible. Amen!

393.Solutions Daily (LOVE AND SELF DEFENCE) date.20.8.2016. Rom 13:3-4 “For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same: For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for hebeareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.”

By now you can see that love is not all about being nice and soft. Love can be tough.

If you operate in leadership in the home, or church or even in public life, it becomes your responsibility to protect those under your care. When another person barges into your territory to harm those entrusted to you, you must rise up to protect them at all cost.

A Christian that walks in love still has the right to defend or protect himself and those under his authority. You must never be the aggressor, but you must know when to take your stand militantly. You must know when it no longer lies with you to be at peace.Rom 12:18 “If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.”

Jesus said we should turn the other cheek when we are attacked. That is called patience. What happens when the aggressor slaps the other cheek, and another and another? You must trust God to help you live a balanced life.

As a husband and parent, if you attack my family, I will attack you to protect them. As a pastor, if you attack my flock, I will rise up to protect them. It is not all the time it lies with me to be at peace. As long as it lies with me, there will be no war, but when it now lies with your aggression and you won’t relent, there will be legitimate and decisive war. And God will be on my side when I engage you.
Is it right for a believer to keep a gun for self-defense? If you kill a robber who is about to r**e your daughter, is this murder?

Confession: God is my refuge and my fortress, He rises up to my defense in the day and in the night. But o also embrace my human responsibility to protect those under my authority and to defend myself when attacked.

392.Solutions Daily (LOVE GIVES AND GIVES) date.19.8.2019. John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

The proof of love is in your giving. Love is giving. My giving to my family is a show of my love. Because I love them I want to spend time with them, I want to spend my resources on them.

God demonstrated this clearly when He gave His son for our salvation and deliverance. Giving is motivated by love. If a man is stingy to you as a lady whom he claims to love, it speaks volumes. You cannot tell me, you truly love a lady you want to marry and yet you do not have time for her, or you do not give to her in kind or in cash. Just as it is true that where your treasure is, your heart will be, so also where your heart is, your treasure will go to.

Your love for God is expressed in the giving of your time, gifts, talents, abilities, finances and even your life to God and His kingdom. God so loved that He gave. I can imagine that God was intoxicated and provoked by the love He has for us. Even in our sins and filth, He had to release His one precious son to die for us. Genuine, God kind of love gives without counting the cost.

This is the kind of love we are to show our world. We should be willing to spend and be spent for the advancement of the cause of Christ on the earth. That is the only way we can have irresistible impact to transform our world.

Human love seeks to take, possess and own whatever he loves. Divine love on the other hand seeks to give and give until the object of love is transformed into an amazing beauty. Love is shown by how much you are willing to give, not how much you desire to take and possess. Spread God’s love by becoming a selfless giver in your family, church and community.

Confession: I am a lover. I am a giver. I give to God because I love Him. I give to men because I love them. I give my time, my money and my talents to serve humanity because I love.

390.Solutions Daily (AVENGE NOT YOURSELF) date17.8.2016.Romans 12: 19, 20 Dearly beloved, avenge not your selves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord. Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him.

Vengeance belongs to God. I see a lot of Christians trying to fight their own battles themselves, and they fail and rather weary themselves. The battle is the Lords. Love does not revenge. Love is not “do me as I do you” or “tit for tat”. Mike Murdock says, “...your harvest does not necessary come from where you sowed it”. In other words, if someone wrongs me, I am not going to insist I revenge, because he will definitely reap a harvest of that wrong somewhere, somehow, unless he repents.

God has a role he plays, and you have yours. We are in control of the seed; He is in control of the harvest. Do not try to give people a bad harvest when you think they have sown bad seeds; let God do that.

Your sole responsibility as a Christian is to sow the seed of love everywhere you go. In fact the bible says when we are wronged in any way; we should repay with good. Be kind and generous to the people that have hurt you. Rom 12:21 “Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.”

Love is of the spirit, and if you walk in the spirit, you will not gratify the desires of the flesh (Galatians 5:16). The flesh always wants to repay evil for evil, but you, as a new creature, can overcome evil with good.

Most Christians today have been wrongly taught that the way to conquer their enemies is to pray against them and call fire upon them. Most of them fear witches because the more they have prayed against these suspected witches, the more the witches have thrived. The simple reason that happens is because these Christians are using the weaker weapon of vengeance rather than the way of love. Love is what would subdue your enemies and turn their hearts to God.

Confession: I do not avenge myself. I walk in love. When my enemy is in need, I help them out. I trust God to avenge me. God protects me from those who hurt me.

389. Solutions daily (LOVE CONFRONTS) date 16.8.2016. Matthew 18:15 NIV If your brother sins against you go and show him his fault, just between the two of you. If he listens to you, you have won your brother over.

It is almost impossible to maintain a love walk with others if you are overly timid and shy. Your heart may be right at the beginning, but overtime, it will get clogged up with unsettled ‘matters arising’ and this will kill your love walk.

This is the very reason divorces happen. When a married couple is trying to build their home without loving confrontation, it kills their love overtime.

Jesus said“… It is impossible but that offenses will come…for it must need be that offenses come…” (Luke 17:1, Matthew 18:7). You cannot avoid offenses arising in any kind of relationship… not even marriage. But the same Jesus prescribes for us how offenses should be handled correctly.

Note these points:
The purpose of confrontation must be reconciliation; never confront to prove a point or to make the other person feel bad (Matthew 18:15).
Never confront while still angry. Forgive before you confront (Ephesians 4:26).
Use soft words when you confront, not harsh, bitter, sarcastic words (Proverbs 15:1).
Never talk to a third party about a matter until you have first confronted the one that offended you. You still have the responsibility to confront even when you know the other fellow will not listen.
When prayerfully done, the ability to confront other is love can become the greatest key that keeps your heart free to keep walking in love.

When this operates in a marriage, the relationship can only get stronger with time. I have been married 15 years now, and I testify that after all these years, I love my wife now much more than when we first started, this is because our relationship is built on open communication and loving confrontation where necessary.

Confession: I am bold and courageous enough to confront when necessary. I seek peace. I pursue peace. I follow through. My heart is free to keep loving.

388.Solutions Daily (LOVE DISCIPLINES) date.15.8.2016. Heb 12:6-7 “For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth. If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?”

As a parent with children, I can really identify with this issue of discipline. Every time I discipline the kids, the motivating factor is love. When a child does wrong, because of my love for that child to be corrected, I disciplines the child even if sometimes I have to use the cane.

A son that is not properly disciplined by a father, will become useless and a disgrace eventually. Discipline should be done in love, not in anger.

When we are reproved sometimes in the house of God, we should understand that this is for good. The good accomplished is so that you will stand before God blameless in all things. A son that responds to the discipline of a father is a son that can handle his inheritance. Discipline is an expression of love to make you better. It may be grievous while it is going on, but the pain cannot be compared to the gain.

Heb 12:11 “Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.”

God is so jealous over us and our precious souls that He has to administer discipline to us when we go wrong in other to save us eternally. The great evangelist, Dr. Billy Graham says, “God loves you enough to receive you the way you are, but loves you too much to let you remain the same.”

That is the standard of God’s love. It is not always about being nice, and being soft. No! Love can be tough, and still be real. Love corrects, love disciplines, love builds.

Confession: I embrace discipline when I need it. I administer discipline when I need to. I can receive discipline and still love those who administer it. I can administer discipline to others in love, not anger.

386.Solutions Daily (LOVE BELIEVES THE BEST, EXPECTS THE BEST) date.13.8.2016. Isaiah 52:7.How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, thy God reigneth.

Love believes the best of every of everyone. Human beings are negative by nature. The flesh of man is highly negative. If you walk in the flesh, you tend to believe the worst of people. Like they say in journalism, “Bad news sells.”

I assure you that most of the stories you have heard about others are not true. Even where they are elements of truth, most are highly distorted and exaggerated. If you do not walk in love, you will find yourself peddling rumors around the body of Christ.

Why must you be the one to carry the bad news? Satan is the accuser of the brethren. Are you his paid staff? Why must he freely use your mouth to spread words about his accomplishments? Even if the things you heard are true, must you be the one to spread them? Are these good news?

A man who walks in love is good company any day because his mouth is full of good news. “Love bears up under any thing and every thing that comes, it is ever ready to believe the best of every person, its hopes are fadeless under all circumstances…” (1st Corinthians 13:7 AMP). “If you love someone, you will be loyal to him no matter what the cost. You will always believe in him / her always expects the best from him / her, always stand your ground in defending him / her.” (1st Corinthians 13:7 LB)

Can you see that? What harmony will invade our homes and churches when we truly love one another. Have you noticed that when you believe in people, they tend to strive to live up to your expectations? Love is a great motivation.

Confession: I am not a suspicious person. I do not delight in bad news. I believe the best of every one. I expect the best from them, so I always get the best.

386.Solutions Daily (LOVE KEEPS NO RECORD OF WRONGS) date.12.8.2016. Heb 10:16-17 “This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them; And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.”

You cannot say you are walking in love when you keep a journal where you record all the wrongs people have done to you. You may not even have a physical record, but you keep one in your mind. This would destroy your capacity to walk in love.

Someone once told me that she no need of a diary to remember wrongs, but that her heart was her diary where no one can see, and no one can erase. Are you like that? That could damage your heart over time.

The God kind of love does not keep a record of wrongs. That is the kind of love behind our salvation. God blotted out our transgressions and has wiped them away; He remembers them no more. So, we can be free in HIS PRESENCE.

That is why people like Mary Magdalene could still be restored to the Lord and be used of God though she was a pr******te. Rahab was a pr******te too, but when she turned to the Lord, she was made whole and God still used her. If God will not remember your wrongs, why should you remember other people’s wrongs? The highest way is to not just forgive, but also to forget.

No relationship, not even marriage, can survive in an atmosphere where the people involved keep record of wrongs. Once a matter is over, learn to put it out of your mind and go on. Forget it and move on in love. If you do not do that, your emotions will get so clogged up over time that you will not be able to love anymore.

Confession: God has forgiven and forgotten my sins. I forgive and forget the sins of others against me. I refuse to call them to mind or talk about them anymore. I keep no record of wrongs.
