Hope to see you this Sunday at 1030 for our Eucharist service!

We invite you to a sustainable sewing workshop if you want to give your clothes a second life! Every Friday morning starting November 6th, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, we'll be waiting for you at the Anglican Church of the Holy Cross at Via Roma 469, Palermo.
If you're tired of the impact of fast, disposable fashion on the planet, join our practical and informal workshops and learn to repair, recycle, and reuse the clothes you already own. You'll be guided by expert stylist Ella Barker, and we'll work together in a relaxed setting in our church to repair and renew your clothes, reducing waste one stitch at a time. Please bring only the items you'd like to work on.

After the workshop, we'll stop for a cup of tea or coffee and a chat. Places are limited and assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.

A donation of €10 per session is appreciated to cover costs and support the church. Ready to join? Email [email protected] to reserve your spot today! Don't wait: book now and help take care of our planet through sewing.

Join us on Sunday 25 October at 10.30
This is the last Sunday before we begin to prepare for the Advent season and then Christmas. In the Church of England, we call it Bible Sunday. Almost all of us have a bible (in my case many bibles!) on our bookshelves, but do we read them? If not, why not? I pray that we may use this Bible Sunday as a reminder to occasionally slow down, trust God, and share with Him our worries and concerns. No matter what the week ahead may hold, remember that His grace is sufficient, His love never fails, and His plans are always worth trusting. Whoever wrote Psalm 46 describes this perfectly (for me at least), “Be still, and know that I am God.” P.S. If ever we need peace in our hearts, remember where your bible is and take time to read it.

All are welcome!
Join us for refreshments after the service.

Siete tutti benvenuti!

Join us for Holy Eucharist this Sunday, 18 October 2026, at 10.30 as we keep the Feast of Saint Luke.

He wrote the Gospel of Luke and, we believe, also the Acts of the Apostles. Saint Luke is traditionally remembered as a physician. Paul refers to him as the beloved physician in Colossians 4:14. He is the patron saint of physicians, surgeons, artists, notaries, and also butchers. He is typically represented by a winged ox or calf, symbolizing sacrifice and service.

In parts of Europe, the period around his feast day is historically known as "St. Luke's Little Summer" due to there regularly being a short stretch of mild, sunny weather at this time. During our service we will consider what we can learn from the life and example of Saint Luke.

San Luca è tradizionalmente ricordato come medico.
