Presentiamo il terzo altare della navata di destra: dedicato a Sant’Omobono, affascinante figura del Medioevo italiano.
Vissuto a Cremona nel XIII secolo, era un artigiano e commerciante, ma soprattutto un uomo di straordinaria ca**tà. La sua vita si divideva tra il lavoro quotidiano e l’aiuto ai più poveri, ai quali destinava gran parte dei suoi guadagni.
Questa dedizione gli valse, già in vita, una fama di santità. Oggi è venerato come protettore dei sarti e dei negozianti.
Un altare che racconta l’incontro tra fede, lavoro e solidarietà, esempio concreto di una vita vissuta per gli altri. 🙏

✨ The altars tell stories: history, art and faith in our church ✨
We present the third altar of the right nave: dedicated to Saint Homobonus, a fascinating figure of the Italian Middle Ages.
Born in Cremona in the 13th century, he was a craftsman and merchant, but above all a man of extraordinary charity. His life was divided between daily work and constant support for the poor, to whom he devoted much of his earnings.
This dedication earned him a reputation for holiness even during his lifetime. Today, he is venerated as the patron saint of tailors and merchants.
An altar that tells the story of faith, work and solidarity, a true example of a life devoted to others 🙏
