God's message to the world: Repent of your sins and turn to God!

God has a message for this world and he wants this message
proclaimed. It is the message that was preached by the great
prophets of the Old Testament. It is the message that was
preached by Jesus Christ when he was here on this earth. And
it is the message that Jesus instructed his followers to preach
to the entire world. That message is: REPENT OF YOUR SINS,
TURN AWAY FROM THEM, AND TURN TO GOD! Forsake the way of
Darkness and Sin and turn to the way of Light, Life and Truth
as found in Jesus Christ. If you do this there is forgiveness
for you. If you do not the consequences are very dire.

Turn to God. Commit your heart and life to him. Renounce the
Way of the World. Become a believer in Jesus Christ and a
follower of His way. Become a Christian. Jesus said, "I am
the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me, though
he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in
me shall never die." (John 11:25-26) and "I am the way, the
truth and the life. No man comes to the Father except through
me." (John 14:6). Jesus died for our sins. By his atonement
we can have life if we serve him.

Christianity is about a personal relationship with God: a
relationship characterized by a love of God and the following
of His way, not from fear, but from love. It is about an
allegiance to God, a commitment of heart and life to him. It
is about living by God's principles and rules. It is about
following in God's way. And what is God's way? The Way of God
is the way taught to us by Jesus Christ. It is the Way of
Jesus. God's way is the way of honesty, integrity, goodness,
virtue, moral purity. We live in a world that is deeply depraved,
very immoral, terribly wicked. God's way is a way that is
diametrically opposite to the ways, outlooks and values of this
world. God is a biased being. He is not tolerant of sin. He
has a very strong bias against sin. He has created a hell as
punishment for the sinner. The Bible clearly states that
fornicators, adulterers and homosexuals will go to hell.
God's way is a morally straight, virtuous, clean life. If moral
straightness, chastity and cleanness are puritanical, then the
Bible is a very puritanical book. Someone may ask, "What is
sin?" The answer to that question is, "Sin is what God says is
sin." He is our maker. He tells us how he expects us to behave.
If we defy him and live however we please, it is at our own peril.
We have been dully warned. He has repeatedly given mankind warning
of the consequences of sin. It is eternal hell. There will be a
day of judgment when all will be judged. No one will be exempt.
John the Baptist preached a fire and brimstone message of
repentance. Jesus preached the same message. We live in a world
that very badly needs to listen to that message. We live in an age
of great Christian apostasy. It is everywhere. True Christianity
is very hard to find. Most Christianity is nominal Christianity.
People go through motions. They think they are Christians because
they attend a certain church. They trust what the preacher is
telling them. The true message of the Bible is rarely heard today.
It is just not socially acceptable. It is not politically correct.
Hence it has been altered, twisted, distorted, diluted, sugar-coated,
or replaced with a completely false message just to make it attractive
and popular with the masses. One finds the truth by serious reading
of the Bible. That is the only way. You cannot trust man.

Most people have no convictions. On religious matters, they don't
know what to think. They are easily misled. And they are too lazy
to think or act. So they go with the flow, follow the crowd. They
think they can't go wrong by following the crowd. They feel,
"The majority can't be wrong." Well, that is a terrible mistake.
That is the road to hell. The crowd is almost always wrong.

Ezek 18:21-23 But if the wicked will turn from all his sins
that he hath committed, and keep all my statutes, and do that
which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not
die. {22} All his transgressions that he hath committed, they
shall not be mentioned unto him: in his righteousness that he
hath done he shall live. {23} Have I any pleasure at all that
the wicked should die? saith the Lord GOD: and not that he
should return from his ways, and live?

1 Cor 6:9-10 Do you not know that the unrighteous will not
inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither
fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals,
nor sodomites, {10} nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards,
nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.

Gal 6:7-8 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever
a man soweth, that shall he also reap. {8} For he that soweth
to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that
soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

Prov 24:12 If thou sayest, Behold, we knew it not; doth not
he that pondereth the heart consider it? and he that keepeth
thy soul, doth not he know it? and shall not he render to every
man according to his works?

Mat 16:27 For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his
Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man
according to his works.

Heb 9:27 It is appointed unto man once to die .. and after that
the judgment.

Gen 6:5-6 And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in
the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his
heart was only evil continually. {6} And it repented the LORD
that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his
heart.

Jer 17:9-10 The heart is deceitful above all things, and
desperately wicked: who can know it? {10} I the LORD search
the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according
to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.

Ezek 18:4 The soul that sinneth, it shall die.

Jer 17:7-8 Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and
whose hope is in him. {8} For he shall be as a tree planted
by the waters, that spreadeth out her roots by the river.
She does not fear when heat cometh; but her leaf shall be
green; and is not anxious in the year of drought, neither
shall cease from yielding fruit.

Mat 6:19-21 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth,
where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break
through and steal: {20} But lay up for yourselves treasures in
heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where
thieves do not break through nor steal: {21} For where your
treasure is, there will your heart be also.

Mat 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his
righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Mat 7:7-14 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall
find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: {8} For every one
that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him
that knocketh it shall be opened. {9} Or what man is there of
you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone? {10}
Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent? {11} If ye
then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your
children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven
give good things to them that ask him? {12} Therefore all
things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye
even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets. {13}
Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad
is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be
which go in thereat: {14} Because strait is the gate, and
narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be
that find it.

Mat 22:37-40 Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy
heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. {38} This
is the first and great commandment. {39} And the second is like
unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. {40} On
these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

Mat 11:28-30 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy
laden, and I will give you rest. {29} Take my yoke upon you,
and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall
find rest unto your souls. {30} For my yoke is easy, and my
burden is light.

Isa 57:20 But the wicked are like the troubled sea, when it
cannot rest, whose waters cast up mire and dirt. {21} There is
no peace, saith my God, to the wicked.

Prov 8:36 But he that sinneth against me wrongeth his own
soul: all they that hate me love death.

Matt 12:36 But I say unto you, That every idle word that men
shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of
judgment.

Matt 13:40-42 As therefore the tares are gathered and burned
in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world. {41} The
Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather
out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do
iniquity; {42} And shall cast them into a furnace of fire:
there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

Rev 20:12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand
before God; and the books were opened: and another book was
opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out
of those things which were written in the books, according to
their works. {13} And the sea gave up the dead which were in
it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in
them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
{15} And whosoever was not found written in the book of life
was cast into the lake of fire.

John 4:13-14 Jesus answered and said to her, "Whoever drinks
of this water will thirst again, {14} "but whoever drinks of
the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the
water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of
water springing up into everlasting life."

Waiting for Success
1 Samuel 18:14 “And David had success in all his undertakings, for the Lord was with him.”
David’s success and our success is only possible if the Lord is with us and the Lord was with David for he often had the chance to overtake and kill the evil King Saul. Even though God had already established David as king of Israel, David waited on the Lord to establish his rule. David knew that God had originally anointed King Saul but refused to kill Saul because he was the Lord’s anointed and waited patiently (some say 10 years!) for God to set things right. That’s one of the reasons that David had success “in all his undertakings.”
Honor for Success
Deuteronomy 5:16 “Honor your father and your mother, as the Lord your God commanded you, that your days may be long, and that it may go well with you in the land that the Lord your God is giving you.”
The first four Commandments are vertical…that is they are commands relating to God but the last six are horizontal and deal with human relationships. By the way, this makes a cross-shaped pattern. The first of the six Commandments that relate to humans is that of honoring your parents because that is the most important of all the commands for a nation to be strong and receive the blessings of God. Families are the bedrock of a nation and if the family breaks down, eventually so will the nation. If a child does honor their parents, “it may go well” with the children and their “days will be prolonged.” This means that things will go much better for them and they will live a longer life. The opposite is true as well. If that isn’t success, I don’t know what is.
GOD BLESS YOU ALL BRETHREN'S

Constantine Commands Sunday

Issuing the first civil edict making Sunday the day of worship for His Roman empire was Constantine I or Saint Constantine, also known as Constantine the Great. He was emperor from 306 CE to 337 CE and according to history was the first Roman emperor to convert to Christianity. However, prior to his conversion it is well documented that this man was a sun worshiper and only converted upon his death bed. This is the same king who required Sunday observance by civil command!

In his famous edict of 321 CE, Constantine declared, "On the Venerable Day of the Sun let the magistrates and people residing in cities rest, and let all workshops be closed. In the country, however, persons engaged in agriculture may freely and lawfully continue their pursuits; because it often happens that another day is not so suitable for grain-sowing or for vine-planting; lest by neglecting the proper moment for such operations the bounty of heaven should be lost."

Think about this — a sun worshipper changed the day that our Father in heaven established in favor of a day that was being honored and observed to the sun. This edict undeniably verifies the paganism of Sunday worship. There is, again, not a single verse in the New Testament confirming that the day of worship changed from the seventh to the first-day of the week. This change was only through the pen of man, not through the inspiration of Almighty Yahweh, the one with whom we should be concerned.

At the Council of Laodicea in 325 CE, sixteen years after Constantine’s original edict, we find a second attempt to remove the Sabbath. In this decree the counsel of bishops declared, "Christians shall not Judaize and be idle on Saturday, but shall work on that day; but the Lord’s day they shall especially honour, and as being Christians, shall, if possible, do no work on that day. If, however, they are found Judaizing, they shall by shut out from Christ."

Not only did the bishops state here that Sunday was to be observed in lieu of the seventh-day Sabbath, but we find that they also forbade Christians from Judaizing the Sabbath. This provides irrefutable evidence that for 300 years after the death of Yahshua there were still "Christians" observing the Biblical Sabbath. It also shows the desire of the church to move away from its Jewish or Hebraic heritage.

In addition to absorbing pagan converts, antisemiticism was a key reason the Church abandoned many of the beliefs taught by the Messiah and His apostles, including a rejection of the Passover and the acceptance of Easter, a day that originally honored Eostre, a Teutonic (Germanic) g-ddess of light and spring.

It is essential to note that Sunday observance was not left to man’s freedom, but was, again, enforced by strict command of the government. In essence, it was forced obedience to man’s dogma, i.e., man-made doctrine. Through this decree and others that would come afterward Sunday became the counterfeit Sabbath. However, even with these efforts to criminalize those who would honor the true Sabbath, there are records showing that Sabbath observance was never completely removed.

For example, W.T. Skene writes in his book Adamnan Llife of St. Columbs about the Scottish church in the sixth century, "In this latter instance they seemed to have followed a custom of which we find traces in the early monastic church of Ireland by which they held Saturday to be the Sabbath on which they rested from all their labours" (1874, p.96).

As believers we must realize that our assurance is rooted in the Hebraic faith, the same faith given to Abraham. To deviate from this is to forsake the faith of the Messiah and the forefathers of the Old Testament. In expounding upon His own coming, Yahshua made the following statement in Luke 24:4, "And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me."
