The question is what are you preparing for if it's so?

The Sunday movement is now making its way in darkness. The leaders are concealing the true issue, and many who unite in the movement do not themselves see whither the undercurrent is tending.... They are working in blindness. They do not see that if a Protestant government sacrifices the principles that have made them a free, independent nation, and through legislation brings into the Constitution principles that will propagate papal falsehood and papal delusion, they are plunging into the Roman horrors of the Dark Ages.— LDE 125.3

You have just sung I have decided to follow Jesus no turning back.

Now ask yourself:

1. Have I truly decided to follow Jesus, or have I gone back to the world?

2. Is the cross still before me, and the world behind me?

3. Even if no one goes with me, will I still follow Jesus?

The words are easy to sing, but the real question is whether our lives reflect the decision we are singing about.

Dancing in Church

Does dancing in church always please God? Worship is not about what makes us feel excited, but about what honors God. The Bible says, “Let all things be done decently and in order” (1 Corinthians 14:40). Before we dance, sing, or celebrate in church, we should ask: Is this truly glorifying God, or is it simply entertaining us?

Christ’s Empathy Toward Humanity

Christ deeply understands the condition and suffering of human beings. He did not remain distant from our struggles; He came into our world, experienced hunger, weariness, sorrow, rejection, and temptation, yet without sin.

“For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities.” — Hebrews 4:15

Jesus wept with those who were grieving (John 11:35), had compassion on the suffering (Matthew 14:14), and invited the weary to come to Him (Matthew 11:28).

His empathy shows that God does not merely see human suffering—He understands it and responds with compassion.

Christ calls us to show the same compassion toward others.
