| 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐊𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐋𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐏𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬

🔴 Who then is a Christian?
I said it’s not the man that Jesus died for, because He died for everybody.

🔴 He died for the Muslim.
He died for the Shintoist.
He died for the Buddhist.
He died for the pagan.
He died for everybody.

🔴 So when you say “Jesus died for me,” that doesn’t make you a Christian.

🔴 The sinner dies with Christ.
Say that with me now — *The sinner died with Christ.*
*The sinner was buried with Christ.*
*The sinner arose a saint!*

🔴 The sinner died with Christ and was buried with Christ — that was the end of the sinner!
He went to hell, and that was the end of the sinner.

🔴 The Christian is the man who believes that God raised Jesus from the dead — and that he’s identified with the resurrected Christ!

🔴 He’s not the man for whom Jesus died (for Jesus died for the whole world).
He is a new creation.
A new type of man!

🔴 The Bible says, “Old things are passed away, and all things are become new.”
Now, this new man in Christ doesn’t have a past.

🙌🏽 You are that new creation — the one born after the resurrection!

THE BEAUTY OF SERVING WITH THE SPIRIT

For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of his Son, that without ceasing I make mention of you always in my prayers (Romans 1:9).

One of the most striking thoughts from Romans chapter 1 is the Apostle Paul's revelation on serving through the Spirit as read in our opening scripture. It emphasises the consciousness of the spiritual in our Christian service.

Paul didn't say he served God with his mind or body, but with his spirit. This is so important because Christianity is a spiritual walk, a spiritual ministry, and our service must be offered through the Spirit to be acceptable to God. Paul wasn't speaking metaphorically; rather, he was showing us how to carry out our divine assignments.

Serving God with your spirit is about serving from the inward man, engaging spiritual truths, and ministering from a place of depth in the Holy Spirit. This is not head knowledge or mechanical duty; it's priestly service from the inner man. Then, in the latter part of the opening scripture, he says, "...without ceasing I make mention of you always in my prayers" (Romans 1:9). This was also from his spirit. He was making intercession with the intensity of one who is fully conscious of spiritual realities.

He didn’t stop there; in verse 12, he adds, "…that I may be comforted together with you by the mutual faith both of you and me." Recall that he had expressed his desire to see the saints in Rome in verse 11, saying, “For I long to see you, that I may impart unto you some spiritual gift, to the end ye may be established.” The impartation wasn't one-sided; it required their mutual faith.

He was coming to strengthen them, but they were also going to be a source of encouragement to him by their own faith and response. This is the beauty of fellowship with the Spirit, when we serve God with our spirits, we give and receive of His grace and knowledge. Hallelujah!

PRAYER / CONFESSION

Dear Father, thank you for the privilege of serving you with my spirit in the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. I’m conscious of the operations of the Spirit in my life, His wisdom, guidance and grace, to impart others with the blessings of the Gospel. I walk in the power of your Spirit today, producing fruits and works of righteousness, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

JOINT HEIR WITH CHRIST
(You’re A Partaker Of The Inheritance)

TO THE BIBLE - Colossians 1:12 KJV
“Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light.”

LET’S TALK
The word “meet” in Colossians 1:12 means “qualified.” This means the Father has qualified you to be a partaker of the inheritance of the saints in the Kingdom of Light. There’s an inheritance reserved for you—rich, complete, and divine.

That’s why your mindset should always reflect abundance, not lack. You are a child of the King, and everything that belongs to Him also belongs to you. You’re not an outsider or a stranger—you belong in the family of God.

When you’re born again, the Holy Spirit confirms your identity in Christ: “The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God” (Romans 8:16 NKJV). And verse 17 goes further: “And if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint-heirs with Christ…”

Think about that—being a joint-heir with Christ means you share in everything He has. You’re a partaker of the divine nature. The rights, privileges, and inheritance Jesus has, you now share in Him.

To better understand this, consider the idea of a joint bank account. In such an account, all the funds belong equally to both individuals. Neither is limited or secondary; both have full access. In the same way, you share fully in all that Christ has—His righteousness, His authority, His victory, and His blessings.

Psalm 24:1 declares, “The earth is the Lord’s, and the fullness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.” This is the scope of your inheritance—there’s no shortage or limitation. But to enjoy what has been freely given to you, you must grow in your knowledge of God’s Word.

2 Peter 1:2–3 says, “Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord. According as His divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who hath called us to glory and virtue.”

The more you grow in the knowledge of Christ, the more you walk in the reality of what’s already yours. You’ve been qualified—by the Father Himself—to live in the fullness of His inheritance. Walk in this truth. Embrace it. Rejoice in it. Hallelujah!

GO DEEPER
2 Peter 1:3 AMPC For His divine power has bestowed upon us all things that [are requisite and suited] to life and godliness, through the [full, personal] knowledge of Him Who called us by and to His own glory and excellence (virtue).

Acts 20:32 And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.

SPEAK
I’m an heir of God and a joint heir with Christ. All that belongs to Christ belongs to me in full, and I walk in the fullness of my inheritance. I live in abundance and unending supply. The Word builds me up and makes me aware of all that God has freely given me in Christ. Hallelujah!

They will take up snakes; and if they drink anything deadly, it will not hurt them at all. They will lay hands on the sick, and the sick will get well.

When you were born again and received the Holy Spirit, God gave you His very own life—divine life! This is the God-life, and it’s working in you right now. That means no sickness, disease, or pain has the right to stay in your body.

Jesus said in Mark 16:18 that nothing harmful can hurt you. Why? Because the life in you is indestructible—that means it can’t be destroyed.

So, never agree with sickness or pain. Instead, speak God’s Word over your health. Remind yourself: “I’m a child of God, filled with His Spirit, and full of His life.” Live every day with this bold confidence—you have the God-life in you!

Romans 8:11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

SAY THIS
I have the life of God in me. I live above sickness, disease, and pain. The same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead gives life to my body every day. Amen!
