*PERSEVERING INTERCESSION*
*And supplication for all saints” extends the horizon beyond the self. The verse insists that prayer in this spiritual battle is not individualistic; it is communal and covenantal. “All saints” means the whole people of God, not only close friends or those within one’s immediate circle. We believers share one life and one conflict, therefore we must share one another’s burdens in prayer. To pray “for all saints” is to participate in that unity, seeking strength, purity, courage, and steadfastness for the entire household of faith.*
*Beloved, true power behind the armour is not the believer’s strength but God’s presence and help, sought and received through intercessory prayer “in the Spirit,” and that this help is meant to be sought not only for oneself but “for all saints!*As you intetceed the Lord make you the victorious in every battle engaged, in Jesus name*

*This verse is spoken by the prophet Samuel as he reaffirms his commitment to interceding for the people of Israel and teaching them the ways of God. This is true of any true pastor. Samuel's deep sense of responsibility as a spiritual leader and his dedication to bringing the people closer to God.*
*Samuel sees his guiding them in the ways of truth and righteousness as a sacredrole as a leader and prophet as so essential that to neglect it would be tantamount to sinning against God Himself. The act of praying for others and duty, and neglecting this duty is equated with sin.*
*Intercession is an expression of love and concern for others, and it reflects a desire for their well-being and spiritual growth. We must be commitmented to pray for others by so doing we demonstrate our deep love for others and our desire to see them walk in the ways of the Lord. May the Lord pour on us the Spirit and grace of supplications in Jesus name.*🙏🏿
*GOOD MORNING🙋🏿‍♂️AND HAPPY NEWWEEK.*

*Herod must have considered killing Peter, the leader of the group, as the most strategic way to destroy everything the Church stood for.* *However, the Church did not take no for an answer, they remained steadfast interceeding for Peter.*
*As the Church prayed fervently and persistently, there was an intervention from heaven. An angel of the Lord appeared and freed Peter from his chains and guided him to safety. He then went to the house of Mary, the mother of John, where the Church had gathered in fervent prayer.*
*Beloved we must learn to be persistent and fervent in prayer. Remember what the Bible says in James 5:16, “…The earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available [dynamic in its working].” Lets persist in standing in the gap for one another's needs until there’s a change. We have the power to change anything through our prayers. If there are people that will interceed for the welfare of individuals, families and nations, there is a God that will answer. Father, grant us burden for others in Jesus name.*

TOPIC: THE POWER OF HIS RESURRECTION
📖 Key Bible Verses
Philippians 3:10
“That I may know Him, and the power of His resurrection…”
Romans 6:4
“Just as Christ was raised from the dead… even so we also should walk in newness of life.”
1 Corinthians 15:20–22
“But now Christ is risen from the dead, and has become the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep.”
Matthew 28:5–6
“He is not here; for He is risen, as He said.”

🔥 MESSAGE: WHAT IS THE POWER OF HIS RESURRECTION?
The resurrection of Jesus Christ is not just an event—it is power in operation. It is the greatest demonstration of God’s authority over sin, death, and the grave.
The same power that:
Rolled away the stone
Raised Jesus from the dead
Defeated hell and darkness
…is the same power available to believers today.

✨ WHAT DOES THIS POWER DO IN OUR LIVES?
1. Power Over Sin
Before the resurrection, sin had dominion. But through Christ:
We are no longer slaves to sin
We are empowered to live righteously

👉 Resurrection power breaks addiction, bo***ge, and sinful habits.
2. Power for New Life
The resurrection introduces a new identity:
Old things pass away
A new spiritual life begins

👉 You are not who you used to be.
3. Power Over Death and Fear
Death was once the ultimate fear, but Jesus conquered it.

👉 The resurrection gives:
Hope beyond the grave
Confidence in eternal life
4. Power for Victory
No matter the situation—failure, delay, pain—resurrection power brings restoration.

👉 What looks dead in your life can live again.

📖 TRUE LIFE STORY OF HIS DEATH & RESURRECTION (Biblical Account)
Jesus Christ, though innocent, was:
Betrayed by one of His own disciples
Arrested and falsely accused
Beaten, mocked, and crowned with thorns
Crucified on the cross at Calvary
As He hung on the cross, He declared:
“It is finished.” — signifying that the work of salvation was complete.
He died and was buried in a sealed tomb. Soldiers were placed to guard it.
But on the third day:
The earth shook
The stone was rolled away
The tomb was empty
Mary Magdalene and others came expecting a dead body—but instead found an empty grave.
An angel declared:

👉 “He is not here, for He is risen!”
Jesus appeared to His disciples afterward:
He ate with them
Spoke peace to them
Proved He was alive
This was not a myth—it was witnessed, confirmed, and recorded.

🌿 TRUE-LIFE APPLICATION STORY
A man once lost everything—his job, his health, and his family stability. Depression took over, and life felt completely “dead.”
One Easter Sunday, he encountered the message of the resurrection. He held onto one truth:

👉 “If Jesus rose again, my situation can rise too.”
He began to pray, rebuild, and trust God again.
Within time:
He regained stability
His health improved
His life was restored beyond expectation
What changed?

👉 He tapped into resurrection power—the power that brings life out of death.

💡 KEY LESSONS
The resurrection is proof of God’s power
It is the foundation of our faith
It guarantees victory, transformation, and eternal life

🙏 CONCLUSION
The question is not whether the resurrection happened—
The question is:

👉 Are you living in its power?
Because:
You don’t have to remain in defeat
You don’t have to stay in darkness
You don’t have to accept “dead situations”
Resurrection power is available—right now.

🔥 DECLARATION
“I walk in the power of His resurrection.
Every dead thing in my life receives life today.
I am victorious in Christ Jesus. Amen.”

📖 SUNDAY SCHOOL
📝 Topic: LOVING GOD OVER THE WORLD
📚 Scripture References:
1 John 2:15–17
Mark 12:13
Matthew 6:33

🔑 Golden Text
1 John 2:15 – “Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in them.”

🎯 Lesson Objective
By the end of this lesson, students should: Understand what it means to love God above the world
Identify distractions and worldly desires Learn how to prioritize God daily

📖 Lesson Introduction
In today’s world, many things compete for our attention—money, pleasure, fame, social approval. God calls us to a higher standard: to love Him above everything else.
Loving God over the world means choosing His will, His ways, and His kingdom—even when it is not convenient.

🔍 Lesson Breakdown
1. ❌ Warning Against Loving the World
(1 John 2:15–17)
The “world” here refers to a system that is against God
Three key worldly desires:
Lust of the flesh
Lust of the eyes
Pride of life

👉 These things are temporary and will pass away

✅ But whoever does God’s will lives forever

2. ⚠️ The Deception of the World
(Mark 12:13)
The Pharisees tried to trap Jesus with clever questions
The world often uses deception, pressure, and manipulation

👉 Not everything attractive or popular is from God

✅ We must develop spiritual discernment

3. 👑 Choosing God First
(Matthew 6:33)
“Seek first the kingdom of God…”
This is a command, not a suggestion

👉 When God is first:
He provides our needs
He directs our path
He gives lasting peace

🧠 Key Teaching Points
You cannot love God and the world equally
The world is temporary; God is eternal
Your priorities reveal your love

📌 Practical Applications
Spend time daily in prayer and the Word
Avoid influences that pull you away from God
Choose obedience even when it is difficult
Surround yourself with godly friends

💡 Illustration
A child was given a choice between candy and a seed. He chose candy because it looked sweet. Another child chose the seed, planted it, and later enjoyed a tree full of fruit.

👉 The world is like candy—temporary pleasure

👉 God is like the seed—lasting reward

❓ Discussion Questions
What does it mean to “love the world”?
What are examples of worldly distractions today?
How can you put God first in your daily life?

🙏 Conclusion
Loving God over the world is a daily decision. The world will pass away, but those who follow God will remain forever. Choose what is eternal over what is temporary.

🙌 Closing Prayer
Lord, help us to love You above everything in this world. Give us the strength to resist worldly desires and seek Your kingdom first. Amen.
