THE WORK YOU ARE DOING WITH THE LORD IS TOO IMPORTANT TO LET YOURSELF BE DISTRACTED!

- Nehemiah had a mandate.
- You have a mandate!

- Nehemiah was rebuilding the walls of Jerusalem.

- You are helping to rebuild souls, lives, futures, broken hearts, and shattered lives—through the power of Jesus Christ!

- Did Nehemiah face the work alone?
- And you—are you facing your mandate alone?

- Certainly not!

The Lord is always with you—to guide you, go before you, suggest strategies, strengthen you, and help you bring to completion what He has entrusted to you!

Look to Him, stay focused, and move forward with determination!

Do you know what Nehemiah replied to those who tried to distract him, hinder him, and make him waste his time?

Nehemiah 6:3

I sent messengers to them, saying, “I am doing a great work, so that I cannot come down. Why should the work cease while I leave it and go down to you?”

What an extraordinary response!

“I AM DOING A GREAT WORK, AND I CANNOT COME DOWN!”

You, too, can respond this way to the provocations and distractions that seek to pull you away from your mandate!

- Your time is precious.
- Your calling is important.
- The work the Lord accomplishes through you has eternal value!

Stay focused, act in His strength, and follow His strategies!

You will see how much the Lord can accomplish through a life that remains faithful to His mandate!

KEEP GOING, PERSEVERE, AND BRING YOUR WORK TO COMPLETION!

GOD WANTS TO HEAL YOUR BROKEN HEART!

Disappointment, depression, discouragement, sadness...
What can we do?

Look at this:
Do you know one of the most wonderful things God has done for you? He has placed Himself within you!

His Spirit dwells in you, His love sustains you, and His peace can guard your heart!

Proverbs 4:23
Guard your heart above all else, for it is the source of life.

BUT HOW CAN YOU GUARD IT?

By believing with your heart and proclaiming with your mouth the truths of His Word! (Romans 10:8-10)

When fear, disappointment, or discouragement arise, nourish your heart with what God says, rather than with what your circumstances suggest.

- His Word nourishes your faith.
- His peace guards your heart.
- His Spirit renews your strength!

Today, what words will you choose to let dwell in your heart?

FREE YOURSELF FROM WORRY!
Worrying is not the same as taking care of things; it means letting fear govern your thoughts.

Worry causes you to experience problems today that may never even happen, and it robs you of the peace that God has given you.

But God offers you a better way: to face every situation with His peace, His wisdom, and His strength.

Philippians 4:6-7
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, present your requests to God... And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Today, when faced with a difficulty, do not let yourself be dominated by fear.

Pray, thank God, and take the right step—with confidence.

- Responsibility calls you to act.
- Worry drives you to fear.
- Faith enables you to act in peace.

Pray with me:
Father, I thank You that Your peace guards my heart and my thoughts. I choose to entrust myself to You, to act with wisdom, and to face every situation with confidence.
