Peace be upon you, O Imam of our time; we yearn for your reappearance.

السلام عليك يا إمامَ زمانِنا، نشتاقُ إلى ظهورِك

9 Rabīʿ al-Awwal marks the beginning of the Imamate of Imam al-Mahdi (May Allah SWT hasten his reappearance), our 12th Imam.

Following the martyrdom of his father, Imam Hasan al-Askari (AS), on 8 Rabīʿ al-Awwal 260 AH, the Imamate is passed to his son, Imam al-Mahdi (AJ)

Imam Mahdi (AJ) is the living Imam of our time, divinely appointed to guide humanity. His occultation does not mean his absence from the world; rather, he remains the Imam whose reappearance is awaited by his followers.

His promised reappearance will bring about the establishment of justice and truth after the world has been filled with oppression and injustice.
