Title: A deadly disease called - pride

Pride is a deadly disease. Just as a deadly disease can deny us the blessings we deserve and inherit, so the disease of pride can deny us all the blessings we deserve. Where there is pride God's blessings do not come.

The fallen angel (now Satan) found in Isaiah 11 & Ezekiel 28
Ni**od is found in Genesis chapter 11
King Herod is found in Acts 12:21-23
King Nebuchadnezzar is found in Daniel 4
Vashti Queen and Haman found in the book of Esther
Many more…

All of the above got caught in the grip of the deadly disease of "pride" and perished.

God still warns us today!
Pride blocks miracles from coming to us.
In 1 Kings chapter 5 we read about a government official named Naaman. The miracle did not happen to him until he was immersed in the Jordan at Elisha's word. It was only when he humbled himself from his position of pride and descended into the river that the miracle happened to him.

Humility is the only cure for the deadly disease of pride!

Let's live humbly and receive that medicine daily in the Presence of God. Amen.

Title: Why we should give very much importance to the Word of GOD?

We are living in the days of evil. As much as possible our hearts has to be filled with the Words of God. So that we can escape the evil.

4 things – why we should know the BIBLE?

1.) In Psalm 119:165 we read: “…those who love Your Instructions, have great peace and do not stumble.”

Yes! Those who have the Word of God, won’t stumble on anything, their hearts will be filled in peace all the time. The Word in them will save, direct in the right path.

2.) In John 8:32 we read: “…Truth will set you free…”

satan binds us in: Lust, Anger, bitterness, grudge on someone and many other sins. We can’t be free from those bindings for ourselves. We need The Word to GOD to set us free.

3.) In John 3:34 we read: “…God has anointed JESUS limitlessly…for spoke the Word of God…”

Yes! God has kept us in this world so that we may speak the Word of God to all we meet. In school, college, work place, business area, family….we should speak the Truth of God. In every situation with every one, we should show and share the Word of God only. Then God will fill us with the Anointing of Holy Spirit, like HE filled JESUS.

4.) In John 17:17 we read: “…The Truth will make us Holy…”

Like a flow of clean water washes away the dirt in the dirty water, Truth will take away the dirt from our life.

May GOD help us to grow in the TRUTH

WONDERFUL GOD

Our God never wants us to live in poverty – curse – disease –tears all the time. We have to go through that, but HE doesn’t want us to stay in that all the time. A miracle – a wonderful thing has to happen in our life that our life may change totally.

Our loving God is able to any miracle or wonderful thing in our life. Everything is possible for HIM. HE can change your life within a moment.

In Psalm 77:14 we read:
“You are the God who does wonders;”
HE is our wonderful God
HE is doing wonderful things.
Very often when I look unto the sky during night times, I automatically say: WOW…What a wonderful sky…which my Wonderful GOD made…

Hallelujah…HE is our Wonderful GOD…Amen

Job 9:10 says; “He does great things past finding out, yes, wonders without number.”
Yes! HIS wonderful things are can’t be counted. It is billions and billions are there.

Dear brother/sister
Three things are very important if you need a miracle to happen in your life. Many are there, but these three are very important.
In whose life will GOD do miracles?

1.FOR THOSE WHO BECOME AS HIS CHILDREN

“For GOD so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” – John 3:16

I can give one biscuit to a boy who is walking on the road by having pity on him from the packet of biscuit. But I will give the entire packet of biscuit to my son. Because he is my son, that boy is not a son for me. I can give him on kindness but not much I give to my own son. Today God can bless and help anyone, but His children are always special before His eyes.

Roman 8:15 says: “For you did not receive the spirit of bo***ge again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.”
What an encouraging verse!
HE is our ABBA...FATHER...DADDY… Hallelujah.
You can call HIM at anytime…HE is ready to help you.
Want a miracle? CALL OUR ABBA…FATHER…

2.FOR THOSE WHO SANCTIFY THEMSELVES

Suppose I have been called by a church believer to his house. When I enter his house I see many dirty pigs lying inside of his house. Will I go inside of his house?
I won’t enter into that house.

If I an ordinary man, who expects a clean home to enter – our GOD is an Almighty and Holy GOD; how much clean and neat HE will expect from us to enter into our home?

Joshua 3:5 – “…Sanctify yourselves, for tomorrow the LORD will do wonders among you.”
In Tamil language it says: “Sanctify yourselves today, for tomorrow the LORD will do wonders among you.”

We have to constantly confess our sins and transgressions to our Almighty God truly. HE loves a true and honest heart. HE will sanctify you, then wonders and miracles will follow in your life.

3.FOR THOSE WHO OBEY HIM

Peter obeyed JESUS – he seen a miracle on his boat (Fish)
Servants obeyed JESUS – they have seen a miracle in the marriage (Wine)
GOD loves the obedience very much.
If you want a miracle, obey HIS Words and do according to that.

MAY OUR WONDERFUL GOD DO MIRACLE THINGS IN OUR LIFE COMING DAYS

A BETTER LIFE

In Matthew 5:20(NLT) Jesus said: “But I warn you – unless your righteousness is better than the righteousness of the teachers of religious law and the Pharisees, you will never enter the Kingdom of Heaven!”

Jesus said it as a warning to His disciples. It defines us that the religious law teachers and Pharisees had some righteousness! But JESUS said we should have a better righteousness than them.
To understand this more clear please turn your Bible to Matthew 23:1-3(NLT)
“Then Jesus said to the crowds and to his disciples, “The teachers of religious law and he Pharisees are the official interpreters of the law of Moses. So practice and obey whatever they tell you, but don’t follow their example. For they don’t practice what they teach.”

What the Pharisees and the teachers of religious law told are absolutely true, that is why Jesus said to practice and obey whatever they told. But HE told not to practice what they do in their life. It is the problem for us today.
We have lots of words to speak, but what about our life?

A Godly man said: Preaching and Living are like two legs. Both should be equal for a balanced walk. If my preaching is bigger and the life is short means, people can see the imbalance in my life.

Two men prayer:
We read about the prayer of a Pharisee and a tax collector in Luke 18:10-14(NLT). You all about those passages, what the Pharisee prayed were true: he fasted two times a week – gave a tenth of his income, but he compared his righteousness with the other men. This is where he made the wrong thing.

We should compare our righteousness with JESUS, not with the other fellow brother. We mostly show our own self-righteousness which is totally unfit for the Kingdom of God.

Showing our Righteousness to others:
In Matthew 23:5(NLT) Jesus said: “Everything they do is for show…”
We are often tempted to show our righteousness before others.
A Godly man once told: our heart is the organ which works 24*7 in our entire body. But it is hidden!
Our every works and deeds should be hidden before people; it should be seen by GOD ALONE! JESUS hid Himself in the crowd. Once people tried to make Him as a King for them, HE went away from them. HE wanted to stay hidden all the time.

How much our works and deeds are hidden before people?
1 Corinthians 10:31(NLT) says: “…whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.”
Let our EVERY WORK bring glory to GOD ALONE

Our Reputation:
In Matthew 23:8(NLT) Jesus said – “Don’t let anyone call you ‘Rabbi’, for you have only one teacher and all of you are equal as brothers and sisters.”
Today title seekers are increased. GOD Himself has given us a title: Brothers and Sisters!

Jesus said – Don’t let anyone call you Rabbi (Titles). How about you dear brother/sister?
We are brothers and sisters in Christ. We all are equal before God.
How you are treating a new believer came to your Church recently?
Are you treating him/her same as you treating a believer you is in your Church for many years?
In Hebrews 2:11-12(NLT) it is written: JESUS was not ashamed to call us as His brothers. What a privilege we have today! Hallelujah! We are the brothers/sisters of our LORD JESUS

Our Life:
A Godly man said: For every 6 months he used to ask about his life to his wife and children. If they say good means, he will thank and Glory God
If they sad bad means, he will cry and repent before God
Another Godly man said: If my wife becomes sick, I will fast and pray to God to reveal the reason for the sickness came to my wife.

For us (Servants of God):8
Priest Zachariah and Mary (Mother of Jesus) asked the same question to the angel of God.
"How could it be happen?"
But Priest Zachariah was punished Mary was not – why?
Because Zachariah know the laws of God lot more than Mary; Today God has given and giving us His Words every day and every minute.
*We have more responsibility than the believers in our Church. Our life should be an example for them.

Our preaching and living should be perfectly equal.

Let us remember this verse from 1 John 2:6 everyday:
“Those who say they live in God should live their lives as JESUS did.”

May the Righteousness of JESUS be revealed every minute from our life until our last breath.
