Bachpan Se Seva 🐾✨

Yesterday, we had the joy of taking children out to feed street dogs and puppies, introducing them to what seva truly looks like. They learned how to safely approach and feed animals, understood the do’s and don’ts, and met some of our patients—hearing about their challenges and treatment. Their curiosity and compassion made it a beautiful experience ♥️

Many children joined us from .bandhava Gurukulam. Thank you for making this possible 🤗

We then moved to Bhakti Dham for a small self-service, flameless picnic followed by fun, interactive activities. From our “agree/disagree” game to a thoughtful doodle session, the children shared powerful observations—about traffic stress, pollution, feeding challenges, and even habitat loss affecting animals.

The day ended with a short session on street animal care, certificate distribution, and an engaging Q&A with Dr Pradeep, Vrindavan’s veterinary doctor, who spoke about community coexistence, diseases, and precautions.

A day full of learning, empathy, and joy 🌿🐶

🐶💔 Distemper in a small puppy… a fight we couldn’t win

For 5 days, this little one battled a silent, deadly virus. Moments of slight recovery were followed by sudden bloody diarrhoea and cries of pain. 😢 By the time we reached him, he was already in an advanced stage of canine distemper—a highly contagious viral disease that attacks the respiratory, digestive, and nervous systems.

Distemper often begins with fever, discharge from the eyes and nose, vomiting and diarrhoea, and can progress to seizures and severe neurological damage. ⚠️ In this case, despite urgent care and treatment, his fragile body couldn’t hold on… he passed away the very next day.

The caller, who stayed by his side through it all, gave him a respectful burial. 🤍

This loss is heartbreaking—but also a reminder: distemper is preventable with timely vaccination and early intervention.

Not strays… just angels we haven’t hugged yet 🐾🤍

On these streets, they learn to survive before they ever learn what love feels like… yet their eyes still light up at the smallest act of kindness 🥹✨

A little food 🍲, a gentle touch 🤲, a moment of care — for them, it means everything.
And for us, it’s a reminder that compassion doesn’t need a reason… only a heart 💛

Let’s not look away. Let’s show up for those who cannot ask, but feel just the same 🐶🌼

“Bhai kya baat hai?” — but what we saw today was both heartbreaking and hopeful…
This little monkey had been running weakly through the area, surrounded by many others, until finally kind hands came together to safely catch him 🤲🌿

A call from nearby residents led us here — he was lying helpless, possibly weak and affected by an electric shock ⚡
With the heat taking a toll, his condition was fragile… but treatment began immediately 💉💛

After care, medicines, and strength-building support, he’s ready to go back… back to his family, back to freedom 🌳✨

Radhe Radhe 🙏

This is a case of a female dog named Gauri from Krishna Heights, who had been suffering from a painful tumour for quite some time. She was in significant discomfort and was even struggling to walk. 🐶💔

Our team stepped in and successfully carried out her tumour removal. The procedure went smoothly, and her follow-up treatment is currently underway, continuing until she fully recovers. 🩺✨

We’re grateful to share that her condition has improved markedly since the surgery. With Thakurji’s kripa 🙏, Gauri is now able to walk comfortably again. Her stitches have healed well, and she has regained her appetite, helping her build strength. 🍲💪

Overall, her recovery is progressing very well, and she is steadily on the path to good health. ❤️🐾

Today was a very special day as we went out to distribute food to the dogs of Vrindavan Dham. 🐕

We invite everyone to come, collaborate, support, and also share in this great service being carried out by Braj Animal Care, so that we can all serve those who live in Vrindavan—the residents of Vrindavan: all beings, cows, monkeys, dogs, and so on.

💔 Raman Has No One — But He Has Us
Raman, a young street puppy in Vrindavan, is fighting to survive with a severe jaw fracture. He can’t eat, he’s weak, and without urgent care, he may not make it.

He’s currently on daily treatment just to stabilise. If he regains strength, he’ll undergo jaw surgery on April 24. Every moment counts.

He’s safe for now—but he needs us to keep going.
