On February 18th,2023 Chinmaya Mission-Vizianagaram celebrated Auspicious Maha Shivaratri festival in the Premises of Sri Pancha Mukha Anjaneya Swami Temple. The Chief Sevak of temple Sri P. Kamaraju looked after the main arrangements for this Event.
Chinmaya Mission Vizianagaram organised a day length Programme till midnight Lingodbhava Kalam.
At morning 6 O' clock event started with Sri Maha Ganapathi Pooja followed by Punyah Vachanam, Raksha Bandhanam, Navagraha Mandaparadhanan and installation of Sri Rudra Kalasam. After invoking the all Deities.. Navagrahas, Pancha Loka Palakas, Ashta dik Palakas and Lord Sri Bhavani Shankara.
at 10Am Samuhika Maha Mrutyunja Sahita Rudra Homam was started with the participation of 60 members of devotees including Householders and individuals. and ended with Maha Poornahuthi followed by Avabrida Snanam. Like this our morning programme concluded with Anna Prasada Vitarana to all devotees who participated.
The Evening Programme started at 6:30 with Samoohika Mahanyasa Poorvaka Rudrabhishekam in which 30 devotees have participated individually and as couples.
Mahanyasa prakriya only went almost 2 and half hours having done the Nyasa the Rudrabhishekam went upto midnight 12 'O' Clock. A Special Lingodbhava Kala Maha Aarati was offered at that midnight to Lord Parama Shiva invoking His Grace and Blessings upon entire Universe. The whole event and programme was concluded with Bahuparaks ( while Praising Lord Umaa Maheswara with the qualities of All Pervasiveness Almightiness and Omniscience all the devotees collectively says "Bahuparak...Bahuparak..." to Lord.)
All rituals were performed with the Holy Chantings of Swami Vijayanandaji.
The Event was organised with the Generous Donations of Smt Venkataratnam Amma, Smt Parameswari and Sri RVV Subbarao, Smt Rama Devi Amma and Sri Anandarao and our president Smt Sitadevi Amma.
Our Executive Committe Members Smt. Mohini Vani Amma and Smt. Sumathi Amma leaded the event with the support of our Mission Members Smt. Gowri Amma Smt Varaha Ratnam Amma, Smt Satya Amma, Smt Prameela Amma, Smt Parameswari Amma, Smt Rama Amma, Smt Kanaka Mahalakshmi Amma, Smt Kasturi Amma along with Geeta Chanting Class Members.
The main field service offered by our Vasanth Vihar Satsang Members Sri Lingaraju and Bharathi amma and Smt Bhavani Amma and team.
We thank Sri Satyanarayana Vasant Vihar Colony for donating bundles of flowers for decoration of stage and poojas.
