Sayyida Fatima Tuz Zahra (S.A.), the great daughter of the Holy Prophet ﷺ, departed from this mundane world on the 3rd day of Ramazan. The Holy Prophet ﷺ said Fatimah holds a special place in my heart, and Fatimah is a piece of my heart. Rasool’Allah (s.a.w) said, “Fatima is part of me,” and He further emphasized, specifically, that my daughter Fatima is 2/3 part of me. Rasool’Allah (s.a.w.) cautioned, "Whoever hurts her has hurt me, whoever caused trouble to Fatimah (S.A.), has caused direct trouble to me," Sallallahu Alayhi Wa'Aalihi Wa'Sallam
To gain an understanding of Sayyida Fatimah's (S.A) remarkable rank, and to know the extraordinary and incredibly great status of Sayyida Fatimah (S.A.), first look at who she is the daughter of, wife of, and mother of. Fatimah (S.A) is the daughter of the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (s.a.w) for whom the whole universe was created. Fatimah (S.A) is the wife of Moula Ali (A.S.), who is the Master of Kul (all) Awliya. Fatimah (S.A) is the mother of the kings of Jannah, Hassan, and Hussain. (Alayhimus-Salaam). Whenever the Sahaba Karaam started a conversation with Rasool’Allah (s.a.w. ), they used to exclaim, Fidaka Abi Wa Ummi Ya Rasool'Allah, which translates to “Ya Rasool’Allah, may my parents be sacrificed for you." However, whenever Rasool’Allah (s.a.w.) Himself started a conversation with His daughter Fatima, He would begin by saying, “Oh Fatima, may My Mother and Father be sacrificed for you.”
Fatima Tuz Zohra was very caring and had a deep affection for her father (Rasool'Allah); she always stayed by his side constantly and used to stand up for him, just as a mother stands up for her children. Consequently, she became known as "Umm e Abeeha" (Mother of Your Own Father) 💐.
The term "Fatima" originates from the word "Fitam" which means the one that is kept away from evil and bad character. Whenever Rasool'Allah (s.a.w.) used to see his daughter Fatimah (Salamullah) visiting him, he would welcome her by standing up for her, and by kissing His daughter's hand, and letting her sit in the same spot where he sat moments before. This was Rasool'Allah's most beautiful way of showing his love for his daughter. (Sallallahu Alayhi Wa'Aalihi Wa'Sallam). Insha'Allah, we must learn this Sunnah.
Hazrat Ayesha Siddiqua (R.A), the Blessed Wife of Rasool’Allah (s.a.w), said, “ I have never seen anyone resembling Rasool’Allah (s.a.w) as much as Fatimah (Salamullah); her (Fatima) habits, style of standing, sitting, walking, and speaking exactly resembled those of her father (Holy Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wa’Aalihi Wa'Sallam).
On the day of Mehshar (Judgement Day), a voice will be heard saying, "Oh people, Lower your gaze down, as Sayyida Fatimah, the daughter of Hazrat Muhammad (s.a.w) will pass by, and everyone will lower their gaze down, and Fatima Tuz Zahra (S.A.) will pass by, covered in Seven Veils (Pardah).
