சத்திய முழக்கத்தின் தின தியானம்
எது காரணம்
"அவர் அப்பறம் போகையில் பிறவிக்குருடனான ஒரு மனுஷனைக் கண்டார்." (யோவான் 9:1). தன் ஊழியப் பாதையில் இயேசு ஒரு பிறவிக் குருடனைக் கண்டார். அவனைக் கண்டதும், அந்தப் பரிதாபமான மனிதனின் வழியாக பிதா தன் நாமத்தை மகிமைப்படுத்துவதை இயேசு கண்டார். அவர் சந்திக்கும் மனிதர்களிடத்தில் தேவ நோக்கம் என்ன என்பதை இயேசு தெளிவாய் அறிந்திருந்தார். நம்மைக் குறித்த தேவ நோக்கம் என்னவென்று அறிந்துகொள்ளும் உள்ளுணர்வு நமக்கு உண்டா? இயேசு அந்தப் பிறவிக் குருடனை தேவ மகிமை வெளிப்படும் பாத்திரமாகக் கண்டார். சீஷர்கள் அவனைப் பாவத்தின் விளைவு என்று கண்டனர். இரட்சகரோ தேவ மகிமையின் வாசலாக அவனைக் கண்டார். நாம் மற்றவர்களை எப்படி காண்கிறோம்? தேவ அழைப்பு, தேவ கிருபை இவற்றை மற்றவர்களிடத்தில் காண்கிறோமா? இவன் குருடனாய்ப் பிறந்தது இவன் செய்த பாவமா என்று அவர்கள் கேட்டனர். இது ஓர் மதிகெட்ட கேள்வி! அவனோ பிறவிக் குருடன். அவன் குருடனானது அவன் செய்த பாவமென்றால், பிறப்பிற்கு முன்பே அவன் பாவஞ் செய்திருக்க வேண்டுமே! இது சாத்தியமா? இல்லையே. இவன் செய்த பாவமா? பாவத்தின் சரீரம் சீர்கெடுகிறது என்றாலும், இவன் பாவம் செய்ததினால் குருடனானான் என்பதற்கு எந்தச் சான்றும் இல்லை. அப்படியே அவன் பெற்றோர் செய்த பாவமா என்பதுவும் யூகத்தின் கேள்வி. அவனுடைய குருட்டுத் தன்மைக்கு யாரைக் குற்றவாளியாக்கலாம் என்பது நல்ல சிந்தனையல்ல, அவன் பிரச்சனைக்கு என்ன பரிகாரம் செய்யலாம் என்பதே சரியான சிந்தனை. அவனுடைய கண்களைத் திறந்து, தேவனை மகிமைப்படுத்தவே இயேசு சித்தம் கொண்டார். நாமும் மற்றவர்களின் குற்றங்களைத் தேடி அலையாமல், பிரச்சனைக்குரியவர்களுக்கு விடுதலையைத் தேடிக் கொடுப்போம். ஏன்? ஏன்?..... எனக்கு ஏன்? என்ற இந்தக் கேள்விகளை விட்டு விட்டு இனி என்னவென்று சிந்துப்போம். *எல்லா நெருக்கடிகளுக்கும் காரணம் பாவமே என்று சொல்வோமானால், ஐயோ பாவம் என்று மற்றவர்களின் பரிதாபத்திற்குள் தள்ளப்படுவோம்*

What is the reason ?
"As He went along , he saw a man blind from birth ." (John 9:1) In His missionary path , he halted to take cognizance of man blind from birth. His wretched and pathetic condition arrested His attention . He saw the blind man as the channel for glorifying His Father . Yes He was able to discern the aim and the purpose of His Father in every individual he met with . Do we have that deep knowledge about His will concerning our life ? Yes Jesus saw the blind man as the meet vessel of revealing the glory of God . The disciples saw his pitiable state with an attitude of detachment and found the reason for his present condition - the sin commited by him . But Jesus saw him as the gateway or the portal of the glory of God . How do we see others ? Do we perceive the divine call and the divine grace in the life of others ? The disciples framed a foolish ( uncharitably censorious ) question . " Rabbi , who sinned , this man or his parents that he was blind ? We all know the fact he was blind from birth . If his blindness was due to the sin commited by him , he should have done that before he was born . Is it feasible ?Never . The body prone to commit sin becomes dysfunctional and gets disarrayed too . We can not attribute any valid reason for his blindness . You may face severe consequences for sin but suffering is not directly caused by a person's sin . Was his blindness due to the sin committed by his parents ? The question is not based on any sound reason - a mere guess ! It is not a good thinking at all to find a scape goat for his blindness but to find a remedial measure for his cure is a good move initiated by a sound and a healthy mind . When He opened his eyes his sole intention and will was to bring glory to God , his Father . Like wise we should strive to give freedom to those people who have got entangled in the web of numerous problems instead of searching for flaws in others life . Let us give up the habit of asking silly and impertinent questions like why ? Or why me only or why this should happen to me ? Brood over the matter . If we are in the habit of attributing reason for the hard time that we do encounter in our life to the sin perpetrated by us , we will become the object of pity in the public eye . Amen !
