Today is a profoundly special day for all of us in India and for Indians around the world, as we celebrate the divine birth of Lord Shri Krishna. I am sharing something about His life with you. Please read it with an open heart and in deep silence not merely to understand Krishna, but perhaps to discover something deeper within your own SELF. 🌱✨
Krishna is a mystery. He is the man from whose life, slowly and silently, everything kept disappearing. His beloved was left behind, Gokul was left behind, Yashoda’s courtyard was left behind, his people were left behind, and eventually even his own lineage disappeared. Life went on taking things away from him, one by one. And yet, something remained untouched the smile on his lips, the playfulness in his being, the celebration within his existence. This is where the mystery begins.Krishna does not teach us how to possess life; he teaches us how to live when possession is no longer possible. He does not say, “Hold on to everything.” He says, in his own silent way, “Let everything go, but do not let life go.” Love may leave you do not let love leave your heart. Your own people may walk away do not allow your heart to become empty. Circumstances may turn against you do not allow your inner music to become silent. Because if your joy depends upon what you possess, it is not joy. It is only a shadow of happiness. Real joy has no reason. It simply is. It rises from somewhere deep within, like a fragrance from a flower. Nothing can give it to you, and therefore nothing can take it away. Look at Krishna. He lost, and yet he remained untouched. He experienced separation, yet he did not become bitter. He knew the pain of departure, yet his flute continued to sing. This is the beauty of Krishna that he did not reject life because life was painful. He accepted life totally. He accepted love and separation, meeting and parting, celebration and death. He did not divide existence into good and bad. He danced with the whole of it. And perhaps this is the real meaning of Krishna’s birth. It is not enough to celebrate that Krishna was born thousands of years ago. Krishna must be born within us. And when Krishna is born within, something changes: you stop asking life to remain the way you want it to be. You begin to accept life as it is. You stop demanding that nothing should leave you. You simply become grateful for whatever comes, and peaceful with whatever goes. Our lives too should become like Krishna’s a life in which everything may be placed at stake, everything may be lost, destiny may stand against us, the world may turn its back upon us, and yet something within us continues to dance. Let everything go, but let the celebration remain. Let relationships change, but let love remain. Let the world disappear, but let the flute within remain alive. This is the message of Krishna not renunciation of life, but celebration of life. Not escape from sorrow, but the discovery of a joy deeper than sorrow. Not holding on to the world, but remaining so rooted in the Self that even when the world slips away, you do not slip away from yourself.Perhaps this is what it means to be Krishna-like: to lose everything that can be lost, and yet discover something within that is beyond loss. And then, even in the deepest night, the lips continue to smile… the heart continues to dance… and somewhere within, the flute keeps playing.!🌺

कृष्ण वो हैं, जिनके जीवन से धीरे-धीरे सब कुछ छूटता गया उनकी प्रेमिका छूट गई, उनका गोकुल छूट गया, यशोदा का आँगन छूट गया, अपने लोग छूट गए, उनका अपना वंश भी अंततः छूट गया। जीवन जैसे उनके हाथों से एक-एक करके सब कुछ लेता चला गया। लेकिन एक चीज़ थी जिसे जीवन उनसे नहीं छीन सका उनके मुख की मुस्कान, उनके भीतर की मस्ती, उनके अस्तित्व का उत्सव। यही कृष्ण का रहस्य है। कृष्ण ने हमें यह नहीं सिखाया कि जीवन में सब कुछ पा लो; उन्होंने तो यह सिखाया कि सब कुछ छूट जाए, तब भी जीवन को मत छोड़ना। प्रेम छूट जाए तो प्रेम करना मत छोड़ो, अपने छूट जाएँ तो हृदय को सूना मत होने दो, परिस्थितियाँ तुम्हारे विरुद्ध हो जाएँ तो अपनी मस्ती को मत खोओ। क्योंकि जो आनंद परिस्थितियों पर निर्भर है, वह आनंद नहीं एक समझौता है। असली आनंद वह है जो भीतर से उठता है, जिसका कोई कारण नहीं होता और जिसे कोई छीन नहीं सकता। कृष्ण की भाँति हमारा जीवन भी ऐसा होना चाहिए सब कुछ दाँव पर लग जाए, भाग्य हमारे विरुद्ध खड़ा हो जाए, जीवन हमसे बहुत कुछ छीन ले, फिर भी हमारे भीतर बाँसुरी बजती रहे। आँखों में करुणा रहे, हृदय में प्रेम रहे और मुख पर वही मुस्कान रहे। कृष्ण हमें सिखाते हैं कि जीवन से विरक्त होना संन्यास नहीं है; जीवन के सारे उतार-चढ़ाव के बीच भी जीवन की मस्ती को बचाए रखना ही सच्चा संन्यास है।कृष्ण इसलिए अद्भुत हैं कि वे दुःख से भागे नहीं, विरह से टूटे नहीं, बिछोह से सूखे नहीं। उन्होंने जीवन को उसकी सम्पूर्णता में स्वीकार किया मिलन भी, विरह भी; प्रेम भी, त्याग भी; उत्सव भी, मृत्यु भी। और शायद कृष्ण का जन्मोत्सव मनाने का अर्थ केवल उनके जन्म को याद करना नहीं, बल्कि अपने भीतर यह संकल्प जगाना है कि जीवन चाहे हमसे कुछ भी छीन ले हम जीवन से रूठेंगे नहीं। सब कुछ चला जाए, पर हमारी मस्ती न जाए; सब कुछ मिट जाए, पर भीतर का प्रेम न मिटे; संसार बदल जाए, पर हृदय का उत्सव न बुझे। क्योंकि कृष्ण होना शायद यही है सब कुछ खोकर भी यह अनुभव करना कि भीतर अभी भी कुछ ऐसा है, जिसे कोई नहीं छीन सकता… और उसी अछूते आनंद में मुस्कुराते हुए जीते चले जाना.!🌺
