Remembering Fr. Abraham Pallivathukkal SJ (Our Beloved Palli Achan)
With deep gratitude to God, we remember the life and legacy of Fr. Abraham Pallivathukkal SJ, affectionately known to all of us as Palli Achan.
For generations of Jesus Youth, Palli Achan was much more than a priest. He was a father, mentor, guide, and friend. From the very early years of the movement, he journeyed with Jesus Youth, accompanying countless young people with extraordinary love, patience, and unwavering commitment. He believed in young people, walked with them through their struggles, encouraged them to discover God's call, and helped them grow into mature Christian leaders.
Many of today's Jesus Youth leaders have been personally shaped by his guidance. His ministry was never confined to preaching alone. Through personal conversations, genuine concern, wise counsel, and a fatherly presence, he touched thousands of lives. Everyone who met him experienced his simplicity, humility, and deep love for Christ and the Church.
As we bid farewell to our beloved Palli Achan, we thank God for the precious gift he has been to Jesus Youth and to the wider Church. His life will continue to inspire us to walk closely with Jesus, to love the young, and to serve the Church with humility and joy.
The funeral service will be held tomorrow 21st June at 2:30 PM at Christ Church. We invite the entire Jesus Youth family and all those whose lives were touched by Palli Achan to join us in praying for the peaceful repose of his soul. May the Lord whom he served so faithfully welcome him into eternal glory.

May Palli Achan rest in the peace of Christ, and may his legacy continue to inspire generations to come.
