Sri Bandi Ranganatha Swamy

The main attraction of the village is BANDI RANGANATHA TEMPLE . The wonder of this temple is the statue of the God is born itself call it as udbhava murthy. By seeing this statue growing people kept bandi ( Wheel of chariot )on top of the statue and it is stopped. Still we can see this bandi fixed on top of the statue. ld. There is one more wonder on this day is. the eagle ( Garuda) will come on this particular day and put 3 rounds to the decorated chariot where the God place in the chariot. After that only the chariot moves. Till the Garuda comes and put the rounds the chariot will never moves if you force and drag also. There is a place call Maradigudda which built by Tippusultan when he was passing through this Area while enemies are chasing him and he stayed here. Evening God came in his dream and said there is one statue in this place and asked Tippu to dig there so that he can escape from the enemies. When he did so he found the statue of God Ranganatha and he built a temple for him.
