Abraham, was first filled with the Holy Spirit on Sunday, April 22, 1923!!! By the end of that year many others with him enjoyed this experience for the first time - after waiting, praying and seeing the Lord do great miracles in their midst. In January 1924, Bro. K.E.Abraham started congregations as pentecostal gatherings in a few places. Kumbanad also had one such assembly and this was the orig

in of the great Pentecostal Movement in India. We have come a long way since the inception of this church over 8 decades years ago. Founded by pioneers of IPC such as Pastors K.E.Abraham, K.C.Oommen in the early 1930's, the church has stood for the truth of the Word of God, emphasised the baptism of the Holy Spirit and has also grown as a missionary church. Not only have many servants of God gone out of this church, today, this congregation helps support over 65 evangelists and pastors each month across the country. There is much history to write about the IPC Hebron Church but we just want to say that we are a church growing on a strong foundation - the Word of God and have learnt much from those who have led us and gone before us. With over 170 (please verify number) families, we have a strong Sunday School and a dynamically active PYPA. Our present pastor Pr. Alex Abraham has been with us for the past 2 years, spearheading and charging our youth to do model themselves on the Word of God. We the youngsters have taken up this challenge and are ignited to IGNITE the world we live in..
