Arulmigu Sridevi Boodevi Samedha Sri Venkatachalapathy Thirukovil was built in 16th Century by a Pandia King. No Specific details can be found on the inscriptions from the temple. Only the "Fish" symbol which is the symbol of the Pandia Dynasty can be found as a clear inscription.
The temple is in a village named Prancheri located in Ambasamudram Taluk, Tirunelveli District.
The temple was renovated and Kumbaabhishekam (Consecration Ceremony) was held in a prosperous manner with the grace of Sri Venkatachalapathy on Thai 6th, Manmatha Year (Tamil Month. Date & Year) (Jan 20, 2016) by the members of "Arulmigu Sridevi Boodevi Samedha Sri Venkatachalapathy Thirukovil Narpani Mandram" with the help of the native people and donors.

அருள்மிகு ஸ்ரீதேவி பூதேவி சமேத ஸ்ரீ வெங்கடாசலபதி திருக்கோவில் 16-ம் நூற்றாண்டில் பாண்டிய மன்னரால் கட்டப்பட்டது. மன்னரின் பெயர் விபரம் ஏதும் தெளிவாக கல்வெட்டிலிருந்து அறிய இயலவில்லை. பாண்டிய மன்னர்களின் "மீன்" சின்னம் மட்டும் கோவிலில் உள்ள கல்வெட்டில் தெளிவாக காண முடிகிறது.
இக்கோவில் திருநெல்வேலி மாவட்டம், அம்பாசமுத்திரம் தாலுகாவிலுள்ள பிராஞ்சேரி எனும் கிராமத்தில் உள்ளது.
நிகழ்ந்த மன்மத வருடம், தை மாதம் 6-ம் நாள் "அருள்மிகு ஸ்ரீதேவி பூதேவி சமேத ஸ்ரீ வெங்கடாசலபதி திருக்கோவில் நற்பணி மன்றத்தை சேர்ந்த உறுப்பினர்கள், ஊர் மக்கள் மற்றும் நன்கொடையாளர்களின் உதவியோடு ஸ்ரீ வெங்கடாசலபதியின் அருளோடு கோவிலை சீரமைத்து சீரும் சிறப்புமாக கும்பாபிஷேகம் நடத்தினர்.
