Bro. Jesu George Elango, the founder, and director of the Catholic Pentecostal Mission, was born and brought up as a Roman Catholic. His ancestors were converted from Hinduism to Catholicism in the mid16th century and taught the Catechism of Roman Catholic Church by St. Francis Xavier. He lived a devout Roman Catholic for the first 27 years of his life. He loved the LORD, and the House of GOD very dearly even from his childhood. Though a Roman Catholic, he was reading the BIBLE regularly from his childhood, and acquired good knowledge in the WORD of GOD by his adulthood. He was an altar boy till he went for his undergraduate studies. He was an ardent worshipper of Mother Mary, and used to tonsure his head in honor of her, and used to wear the rosary around his neck all the time. But by divine intervention, he was brought out of the Roman Catholic Church, and went through the experiences of born again, born of the water, and born of the SPIRIT. He faithfully fellowshipped with saints in The Pentecostal Mission (TPM) in India, and New Testament Church (NTC) in USA from 1986 to till 2006. GOD called him to serve him in the order of Melchisedec in 1987. He was not told when to step out in faith. So, he waited on the LORD for HIS appointed time. In the meantime, he confronted many issues in the TPM/NTC. Over the period of time, he developed serious differences with the elders of the TPM/NTC. Many of his questions went unheeded, and unanswered. In spite of this harsh spiritual reality, he continued to fellowship with TPM/NTC. GOD has been talking to him all these 20 years, and gave a specific pattern of the ministry to perform which is in total conformance with the Gospel of JESUS CHRIST. He was told of GOD two months ago to ‘Go thou thy way till the end be. (Daniel 12:13)’ and ’Arise, let us go thence.(Jn. 14:31)’ and ‘Do this now, my son, and deliver thyself. (Prov. 6:3)’. Having made his election, and calling sure, and at the appointed time of the LORD, he set out to found the Catholic Pentecostal Mission in order to do the perfect will of GOD concerning his life.
