The Varamahalakshmi was Vratam held with utmost spiritual fervour in a colourful manner at Tiruchanoor only Friday.

The rituals like Viswaksena Aradhana, Punyahavachanam, Grandhipuja, Kalasa Puja, Astottara Parayanam, Vratakatha were rendered to the processional deity of Goddess Padmavathi Devi who was seated majestically with all Her religious splendour on a special Asanam and Pushpa Kainkaryam was offered amidst chanting of Vedic Hymns by priests.

Srivaru is going to fly on Garuda Vahanam twice in August
Garudavahana service will be held twice in the month of August for Tirumala Sri Venkateswara Swamy. On the occasion of Garuda Panchami on August 13th, on August 22th, Sravana Pournami festival, Srimalayappa Swamy is going to swallow on Garuda Vahanam in four mada streets and protect the devotees.
Garuda Panchami on August 13th
Garuda Panchami festival is going to happen on August 13th. On this occasion, from 7 pm to 9 pm, Sri Malayappa Swamy is going to bless the devotees by roaming on the streets of Tirumada on his favorite Garudu.
Garuda Panchami is conducted grandly in Tirumala every year. It is said that the newly married couples will perform ′′ Garuda Panchami ′′ pooja to make their married life happy and their born child strong like the eagle and good personality.
Garuda service again on August 22th
On the occasion of Pournami every month in Tirumala, the Pournami Garuda Seva is going to be conducted grandly on August 22th. On this occasion, from 7 to 9 pm, Srivaru garudu will be darshaned in the four streets of the temple and will be given to the devotees.
