GLOBAL DIASPORA MOVEMENT (GDM) is a registered inter-denominational organization committed to transform the lives of diasporas (the people who have dispersed from their original homelands). We saw lots of other language groups flooding into Tamil Nadu leaving their original homelands for various purposes such as: jobs, education, transfer, business ventures. Having been uprooted from their home la
nds, they live in isolation and in spiritual crises, desperately in need of gospel truth from the Word of God which is the ultimate solution for all our human problems. It's high time that we need to work together and reach them with the gospel of Jesus Christ. OUR PURPOSE
To share the love of Christ for every diaspora with the gospel truth from the Word of God. To teach the gospel truth from the Word of God methodologically to help every diaspora take deep roots into it. To provide the highest quality training and materials to equip, evangelize and disciple every diaspora for the Glory of God. OUR VISION
To see every individual diaspora effectively witnessing the good news of Jesus Christ in word and deed, and transforming nations. To see worshiping groups among the diaspora passionately in love with Christ that they are gripped by a vision to live and give towards the fulfillment of the Great Commission. To see every member of these worshiping groups empowered to fulfill a personal live mission in the world. To be the Body of Christ in a multi-cultural urban neighborhood, embracing diversity, celebrating God's transforming love, living our faith, and working in hope for reconciliation and peace in our community and our world. OUR MISSION
The basic motive of the mission is to nurture its members, seeking ever to bring them more and more to the stature of maturity in Christ. The extended motive of the mission is to make every born again diaspora to reach out to every other member of his community - in his family, in the city, and in their home states at large. These two major functions of the mission are achieved to the extent that they are under-girded with stewardship of time, and material resources. Centrality of the Church in God's redemptive plan. Necessity to witness the gospel of the Kingdom of God in word and deed. Working towards peace and wholeness between individuals, communities and the environment. Solidarity through strategic alliances for collaboration between organizations.
