EDUCATION TO BE ACCORDED THE HIGHEST PRIORITY EVEN IN THE REMOTEST OF REMOTE VILLAGE.
Rural Empowerment, women’s empowerment, Healthy Population, Educated Population, importance of keeping oneself fit are some of the the buzz words often heard in our growing economy. While there is no denying that Rural Employment Guarantee, Extension of Food Security and Swatch Bharat are moves in the right direction, the importance of a healthy and education population, as stressed by the former RBI Governor, Prof. C. Rangarajan , cannot be overlooked.
Under the Aegis of Thiruthiyamalai Sivan Kovil Trust, Efforts initiated by CHIASM DAIS , for the third year in a row , by upgrading the facilities in both the Primary and High School in the Village and rewarding the School
Children with Citation and Cash Awards for their Academic Excellence are small
steps in this direction.
Not to be left behind in Sports, CHIASM DAIS has also just set up a Soccer Academy to identify TALENT among the bare footed School going children of this remote Village.
The Company is also focusing their attention on yet another Primary School, just 2 km away with the slogan “To School with Dignity” by ensuring no Children has to ever sit on the floor learning their basic academics.
