It was a profound joy to witness the **Diaconate Ordination of four of our Brothers at Francesco**—a truly blessed occasion for our Province. We are deeply grateful to Most Rev. Arokiaraj Savarimuthu, the Bishop of Tiruchirapalli*, for presiding over this sacred celebration and conferring the ordination.

Attached are photos from this special day, capturing the spirit of their commitment and the prayers of all who gathered in support. Let us continue to pray for our newly ordained Deacons as they begin their ministry, trusting that the Lord will guide and strengthen them in their service.

We joyfully mark the 47th Death Anniversary of Servant of God John Peter Savarinayagam today, celebrated with traditional activities and liturgical ceremonies at Amalashram.

It was a great honour to have the Bishop of Kumbakonam, Most Rev. Dr. Jeevanandam Amalanathan, grace the occasion with his presence.

*Capuchin Formation Collaborative Meet: A Moment of Fraternal Reflection*_ *08.01.2026*

Amala Annai Capuchin Province (AACP), and Mary Queen of Peace Province (MQP) gathered for common formators' meeting, united in their mission to evaluate and strengthen Capuchin formation.

Guided by the spirit of St. Francis and inspired by the Holy Spirit, this gathering represents a profound opportunity for shared discernment and growth.

Our collective journey seeks to nurture vocations, deepen spiritual understanding, and continue the rich Capuchin tradition of brotherhood. May our discussions bear fruit, illuminating the path for future friars dedicated to serving God and His people with humility and love.

*Dear Brothers,*
*Greetings of peace and joy!*

On the blessed occasion of inaugurating the *8th Centenary of the Death Anniversary of our Seraphic Father St. Francis of Assisi,* a Peace Rally was organized by Br. Thainis, the Parish Priest of St. Mathias Church and the Parishioners to mark the beginning of this special jubilee year.

The event was graced by the presence of Provincial Rev. Fr. A. J. Matthew, Madras–Mylapore Vicar General Rev. Fr. G. J. Anthonysamy, T. Nagar MLA Mr. J. Karunanidhi, and several spiritual leaders, political dignitaries, and government officials, who together inaugurated the rally with a spirit of unity and fraternity.

It was truly inspiring to witness around 600 participants walk together as ambassadors of peace, echoing the message of St. Francis — "Peace and Goodness to all."

This meaningful gathering reminded us once more of our shared mission to be instruments of peace in today’s world.

Thank you, dear brother, for your fraternal support and presence in this journey of commemoration and service.
