VIYYUR SHIVA TEMPLE, located at Viyyur Junction is a famous temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, which is governed by the Cochin Devasom Board. The Temple has serene surroundings and atmosphere with a large parking ground at the Back entrance of the temple, facing the state highway

The Temple has Lord Shiva as the Presiding Deity and Lord Ganapathy, Naga Devatha ( Serpent Goddess ), Goddess Bhadrakali

and Brahmarakshas as the Sub deities ( Upadevathas )

This is one of the famous Shiva Temple in Thrissur. It has two Entrances and a big and well maintained Temple pond

All the Major and important Festivals, Days and occasions are Observed and Celebrated with great pomp and Splendour. Sivarathri, Sarpabali ( Ayillam star in the month of Kanni ) Annayottu ( Elephant feeding ) deserve special mention

The Daily activities of the Temple are managed by an efficient Steering committee with elected office Bearers
