Kuthiran Mala Sri Dharmashasta Temple is located on the Palakkad Thrissur National Highway. This is a rare temple with Dharma Shasta deity sitting on a horse in rakshaka pose. Shiva deity is Swayambhu.
5 Pooja and 3 Sribali. Everyone has access regardless of caste, religion, nationality or gender. Swayambhu Shiva is outside the shrine. Ganapati, Saraswati, Lord Vishnu, Murugan and Malikappurathamma deities are inside the nalampalam and Nagaraja, Nagayakshi, Gosai, Rakshas and Bhuvaneshwari are outside. On the opposite side of the road, Kiratha Moorthys are located. There is annadana on Saturdays and Sundays. Shaniswara homam is performed on second Saturdays for Sarva Shani dosha remedy. Ashta Dravya Ganapati Homam, Maha Mrityunjaya Homam and Bhagwat Seva are performed on the first days of every Malayalam month.
