Our Church
St George bethel church located at the beautiful hilltop of mulappuram, nearby thodupuzha-thommankuthu way in naturally blessed beautiful district idukki. ; And lots of people from different communities are visiting and getting blessed by our church. According to Malayalam calendar (Kollavarsham) 1919, 4th month, vrichikam, 28th) the church was constructed by the great effort of 6 famil

ies who lead to mulappuram for agriculture purpose, the church is then blessed by Fr t.c mathai, [who is now died and buried in Jerusalem], in the name of Gee Varghese sahada, with the blessed permission of HG paulose mor pheelaxinos metropolitan. So the main festival of the church is on vruchikam 28th [December 10th] and the feast of st George is celebrated on medam 24th [April 24th]. The parish is is spiritually glorified by the stay of entombed Catholicos baselious poulsoe 2 in the church in its early days. The parish is so proud that we have been blessed by the current head of the Syrian Orthodox Church the Patriarch H.H. Moran MOR Ignatius Zakka I in 1982. The platinum jubilee of the church is well celebrated in 1993. There is 4 kurishin thotty under the church management in the name of parumala bawa, yohannan momdana, st Mary and manjanikkara bawa. The MOORON koodhasa of the church was done in 2004 by Catholicose of India, His Beatitude Aboon Mor Baselios Thomas I,and bishop mathews mor evaniyos and bishop kuriackose mor deeyeskoros.

യുഎഇയിലെ ഓൾ കേരള കോളേജസ് അലംനി ഫോറവും മാതൃഭൂമി ബുക്സും സംയുക്തമായി സംഘടിപ്പിച്ച കഥാ മത്സരത്തിൽ നമ്മുടെ ഇടവകയിലെ എത്രയും ബഹുമാനപ്പെട്ട തോമസ് മാളിയേക്കൽ അച്ചൻ്റെ മകൻ ബേസിൽ തോമസിന് രണ്ടാം സ്ഥാനം ലഭിച്ചു.

നമ്മുടെ ഇടവകയിൽപ്പെട്ട മറ്റപ്പിള്ളിൽ സാറാമ്മ എബ്രഹാം(സാറാമ്മ ടീച്ചർ 91) കർത്താവിൽ നിദ്ര പ്രാപിച്ച വിവരം വ്യസനസമേതം അറിയിക്കുന്നു.

സംസ്ക്കാര ശുശ്രൂഷകൾ 3.6.26 ബുധനാഴ്ച്ച രാവിലെ 10 ന് വീട്ടിൽ ആരംഭിച്ച് തുടർന്ന് നമ്മുടെ ദേവാലയത്തിൽ നടത്തപ്പെടുന്നതാണ്.

മൃതദേഹം 2.6.26 ചൊവ്വാഴ്ച വൈകുന്നേരം 5 മണിക്ക് വീട്ടിൽ കൊണ്ടുവരുന്നതാണ്.
