MISSION ( HOW ARE WE GOING TO ACCOMPLISH THIS ?)
Our Mission is to worship and work together in evangelizing the world, edifying one another, and equipping the saints. It's about a relationship between a person and God. Together, we make faith worth living. The church is a creation of God (Acts 20:28; 1 Corinthians 3:9, 17; 15:9), founded and owned by Jesus Christ—“I will build My church” (Matth
ew 16:18)—and directed and energized by the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 10:17; 12:5–27;
Romans 12 : 4–5). Therefore, it is the church’s joy to look to God to explain His design for the church and His mission for it.
>> The mission of the church is to make disciples. Just before Jesus returned to heaven, He commissioned His disciples this way: “Going into all the world, make disciples of all nations by baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to observe everything that I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
1 Peter 1:3-5 : Make disciples of Jesus Christ, through the teaching of biblical principles, who obey the truth, live by grace and impact everyone around them.
>> The mission of the church is to glorify Christ. Paul wrote, “In Christ we were also chosen … in order that we … might be for the praise of His glory” (Ephesians 1:11–12). Part of God’s purpose for the church is to exalt Jesus Christ by the way that the church lives and by what it does.
>> The mission of the church is to build up the saints. The church is to encourage and comfort its individual members
( 1 Thessalonians 5:11; 2 Corinthians 13:11 ). “There should be no division in the body, but . . . its parts should have equal concern for each other”
( 1 Corinthians 12:25 ). Jesus is the chief cornerstone, and the church is likened to a building joined together and rising to become a holy temple in the Lord. And in Him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by His Spirit”
(Ephesians 2:19–22; see also 4:4–25). Jesus Christ designed His Church to showcase God’s family on earth, so that the pagan world can see how God builds His family around Jesus Christ and how that family cares for one another
" Proverbs 29:18 says "Where there is no vision, the people perish." And it goes on to say, "but he that keepeth the law, happy is he." At ANT, it's our mission to help you explore your relationship with God and improve those meaningful relationships in your family life. The ants are a people not strong, Yet they prepare their food in the summer;
The ANT is a small creature, its strength is not its size but its characteristics, The ants are a people not strong, yet they prepare their meat in the summer; Jesus said, Work while it is day for the night cometh when no man can work. Jesus said Walk while you have the light. The ANT has no guide or overseer, or ruler = ( self-disciplined ) (self-motivated) No one has to wake up the ant and stand over her making sure she gets her work done. No one has to encourage her to gather in the grain, it means No one has to beg her to go to church or praise the Lord, or go to prayer meeting or to read her bible. The ant makes wise use of her time, ( she is a good manager,) One of the most important things we will ever learn as Christians is that we are stewards, which means that we don’t really own anything but God puts us in charge of managing his goods. Time, finances, relationships, etc. What the ant does by instinct, we must do by intention. What the ant does by design, we must do by discipline. The ant prepares for the winter = (Precaution, Planning & Practical).* From the ' ANT ' We learn how to look beyond our present circumstances ( as Jacob looked ahead to the blessing, but Esau was only concerned about a present temporary, comfort and pleasure. )
Like the ant we must take pains, and labour in our business. Proverbs 22:29 (KJV)
