Major Jarvis Silas, DDWM, The Salvation Army Trivandrum Division, was Promoted to Glory on 14 May 2026 following a stroke and cardiac arrest at Medical College, Trivandrum.

The funeral service of Major Jarvis Silas, DDWM, is to be conducted on Saturday, 16 May 2026 at Trivandrum Central Corps, followed by the committal service at Parambukonam Cemetery.

A faithful servant who dedicated her life for the extension of God’s Kingdom, her life and ministry remain a testimony of faith, commitment, and devotion to Christ.She has completed 28 years of service in The Salvation Army.

A blessed time of prayer and spiritual renewal at the Prayer Concert – THQ Spiritual Day of The Salvation Army ISWT. 🙏

Conducted by Colonel Prakash Chandra Pradhan (Territorial Commander) and Colonel Rani Phula Pradhan (Territorial President of Women’s Ministries), the session was deeply enriching and spiritually uplifting.

Centered on the 6Ps of Prayer — Presence, Praise, Purification, Petition, People & Place, and Peace — we were reminded of the importance of intentional and faith-filled prayer in our lives and ministry.

Child Protection Seminar | Women’s Ministries – THQ

A meaningful Child Protection Seminar was conducted by the Women’s Ministries (THQ), The Salvation Army India South Western Territory, in collaboration with International Child Protection, IHQ, at Nagercoil.

The session empowered women with vital knowledge and practical insights to safeguard and promote the well-being of children in our communities.

We were privileged to have Captain Charls Chalrimawia as Chief Guest, along with the Colonel Prakash Chandra Pradhan, Territorial Commander, Colonel Rani Phula Pradhan, Territorial President of Women’s Ministries, Chief Secretary Lt. Colonel Jacob J. Joseph, and Territorial Secretary for Women’s Ministries Lt. Colonel Sonia Jacob, who encouraged and inspired all delegates.

Special thanks to the ISET leadership and officers for their support, and commitment in making this seminar impactful and meaningful.

Corps Cadets & Proposed Candidates Gathering 2026, organized by the Youth Department – ISWT, was held from April 20–22 at TSA Johnson Hall, Kowdiar.
The gathering was graced by Lt. Col. Jacob J. Joseph as Chief Guest for the inaugural session, with overall leadership by Lt. Col. N. D. Joshua. Key sessions were led by Captain Charls Chalrimawia and Captain Gladistan G. S..

The closing session was blessed with the sermon delivered by Colonel Prakash Chandra Pradhan, with the gracious presence of Rani Phula Pradhan.

A blessed time of worship, learning, fellowship, and spiritual renewal, inspiring young lives towards God’s service.
