Today's sermon text was drawn from Eph. 6:11-13 by Br. Girish Kumar Sivasankaran.

The text reminds us to be prepared for a spiritual battle with the devil who is our enemy. The enemies of Christians are not physical people but spiritual forces. Therefore Scripture commands us to put on the whole armour of God (faith, truth, salvation, righteousness, Word of God, etc.). Three things to remember:
1. Be strong in the LORD. Abide in Him. Maintain continuous fellowship with God and He will lead us to victory.
2. Be prepared - put on God's armour. Every Christian is a soldier and should not expect to be comfortable and live lazily on the way to heaven.
3. Be aware of the devil and his schemes. Many Christians don't have any awareness/presence of standing for the truth in their lives - that should not be so. Be sober. Be vigilant.
