Nature at kumarapuram Chamundi Devi temple. Bhadrae Narayana! Bhadrae is another name by which we call our mother, chamundeshwari Devi. The Maya we see on a daily basis is nothing but her giving. Only she can remove the veil away from this Maya. Maya is nothing but the so called reality which we are in. We are in the constant need to do things which we desire. In order to control our mind and desires, and to do good without getting affected by karma, we need the supreme mother, the very energy which resides at kumarapuram chamundi Devi temple. A total wash of energies. Right after the evening pooja at Kumarapuram-Chamundi Devi temple on Friday, known to be very auspicious for ceremonies. The peteled stone lamp is lit and the sight is totally mesmerising. The reverberation of energy of chamundi Devi during the evening ritual is a feeling that all her devotees cherish. Ammae mahamayae!!

The sanctum of Yakshi ( female guard) and Madan ( male guard) at kumarapuram chamundi Devi temple.
Yaksha, also spelled yaksa, a class of generally benevolent but sometimes mischievous, capricious nature spirits who are the custodians of treasures that are hidden in the earth and in the roots of trees. They are powerful magicians and shape-shifters. Their worship, together with popular belief in nagas (serpent deities), feminine fertility deities, and mother goddesses, may have had its origin among the early indigenous people of India. The energy at the location can be felt during the visit at the temple.

The Western wall of the sanctum sanctorum of Kumarapuram - chamundi Devi temple shows the 5 headed snake. Snake has a huge role in Hindu mythology. The snakes of kundalini. The 5 headed snake bed of Sree Mahavishnu is well known depicting his complete control over kundalini energy. The temple and sanctum sanctorum of chamundi Devi. The picture depicts one the oldest form of temple architecture in Travancore ,Kerala. The sanctums south and north wall has paintings depicting doors. The west wall has a painting of 5 headed snake. The same is the depiction since a very long time and no change has been done to the form.

From the picture from the southern side of the Kumarapuram - Chamundi Devi temple. The temple depicts an old Travancore Architecture which uses wood, stones and metals. The base structure is made of laterite and granite. The roof is single storey. The rectangular plan of the sanctum has a pyramidal roof. The picture also shows dwarapalakar ( temple guards) near the sopanam ( temple steps). Only the priest is allowed to enter through this holy steps. Ammae Narayana!!
