കർത്താവിൽ പ്രിയരേ,
ക്രിസ്തുയേശുവിൽ സ്നേഹവന്ദനം!
നമ്മുടെ നാട് വീണ്ടും ഒരു പ്രളയദുരിതത്തെ അഭിമുഖീകരിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്ന അതീവ ഗുരുതരമായ സാഹചര്യമാണ് നിലവിലുള്ളത്. പമ്പാ നദിയും മണിമലയാറും നിറഞ്ഞുകവിഞ്ഞൊഴുകുകയും, തുടർച്ചയായ മഴ സ്ഥിതിഗതികൾ കൂടുതൽ സങ്കീർണ്ണമാക്കുകയും ചെയ്തുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.
റാന്നി, ഇടയാറന്മുള, തിരുവല്ല, ചെങ്ങന്നൂർ, കല്ലിശ്ശേരി, കുട്ടനാട് തുടങ്ങിയ പ്രദേശങ്ങളിലുള്ള അനേകം സഹോദരീസഹോദരന്മാർ വലിയ ദുരിതങ്ങളും പ്രയാസങ്ങളും നേരിടുന്ന സാഹചര്യമാണ്. ഈ പ്രതിസന്ധിയുടെ നടുവിൽ നമ്മുടെ പ്രാർത്ഥനയും കരുതലും സഹായവും അവരോടൊപ്പം ഉണ്ടാകേണ്ടത് നമ്മുടെ ക്രിസ്തീയ ഉത്തരവാദിത്വമാണ്.
അതിനാൽ, നമ്മുടെ നാടിനും ദുരിതമനുഭവിക്കുന്ന കുടുംബങ്ങൾക്കും വേണ്ടി എല്ലാവരും നിരന്തരമായി പ്രാർത്ഥിക്കണമെന്ന് സ്നേഹപൂർവ്വം അഭ്യർത്ഥിക്കുന്നു.
ഏതെങ്കിലും തരത്തിലുള്ള അടിയന്തര സഹായം ആവശ്യമായിരിക്കുന്നവർ സഭയുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെടാൻ മടിക്കരുതെന്ന് അറിയിക്കുന്നു. നമ്മുടെ കഴിവിനും സാഹചര്യങ്ങൾക്കും അനുസരിച്ച് ആവശ്യമായ സഹായങ്ങൾ എത്തിക്കുന്നതിനായി സഭ സാധ്യമായ എല്ലാ ഇടപെടലുകളും നടത്തുന്നതായിരിക്കും.
ഈ ദുരിതകാലത്ത് നാം പരസ്പരം കൈകോർക്കുകയും, പ്രത്യേകിച്ച് പ്രാർത്ഥനയിൽ ഒരുമിച്ച് നിൽക്കുകയും ചെയ്യാം.
“ദൈവം നമ്മുടെ സങ്കേതവും ബലവും ആകുന്നു; കഷ്ടങ്ങളിൽ അവൻ ഏറ്റവും അടുത്ത തുണയാകുന്നു.”

ദൈവം നമ്മുടെ നാടിനോട് കരുണ കാണിക്കട്ടെ. ദുരിതമനുഭവിക്കുന്ന എല്ലാവരെയും തന്റെ ശക്തമായ കരങ്ങളിൽ കാത്തുസൂക്ഷിക്കട്ടെ. നമ്മുടെ നാടിന് എത്രയും വേഗം സമാധാനവും ശാന്തിയും സാധാരണ ജീവിതത്തിലേക്കുള്ള മടക്കവും നൽകട്ടെ.

Dearly Beloved in the Lord,
Loving Greetings in the Precious Name of our Lord Jesus Christ!
Our land is once again facing a very serious situation due to severe flooding and continuous heavy rains. The Pamba River and Manimala River are overflowing, and the persistent rainfall is making the situation increasingly critical.
Many of our brothers and sisters in Ranni, Edayaranmula, Thiruvalla, Chengannur, Kallissery, Kuttanad, and surrounding areas are going through severe difficulties and distress. In this challenging situation, it is our Christian responsibility to stand with them through our prayers, care, and support.
Therefore, I earnestly request everyone to continue praying fervently for our land and for all those who are affected by the floods and heavy rains.
Anyone who is in need of any kind of urgent assistance is requested not to hesitate to contact the Church. The Church will make every possible effort, within its capacity and resources, to extend necessary support to those in need.
During this time of distress, let us stand together in solidarity and, above all, remain united in prayer.

May God have mercy upon our land and protect all those who are suffering. May He keep everyone safe under His mighty hands and grant our nation relief, peace, and a speedy return to normalcy.
