Dear......
With the wholehearted support of yourself and other family members, we were able to complete one more year of managing the temple activities successfully. Our annual general body was convened on 3/6/18 and I'm here to inform you a few facts about our family temple.
As you may be aware, our beloved Devi has inherited a lot of property from the family but after so many encroachments during the past several years now we have only 5 and a half acres of land with the temple trust. This 51/2acres is distributed in and around the temple (not as a compact area). Very recently, fresh encroachment attempts were done by a local resident. This has led to some problems to our local committee member. Now a situation has arrived that we need to urgently demarcate our temple properties and protect them with fencing. Due to the urgency of the situation, we have already started doing it. The property behind the bus shelter at the Pidaka Junction is fully fences and for the property adjustment to the guest house vulnerable portion adjacent to the road is fenced. Regarding other sides the fencing can be taken up only after proper surveying the property. Towards this the chairman of KEBTT is fully appraised for initiating suitable action. You know we are always running short of funds and need to undertake some fundraising efforts to tide over the crisis. Hence I, on behalf of KEBTT, humbly request you to contribute as many funds as possible and also to motivate your other family members (siblings, members of your family branch and children) to contribute generously for this purpose.
It is not the funds alone that is wanting, the active participation of members too is essential. Members are requested to come forward and volunteer for various positions in the KEBTT.
There is an immediate need to induct younger members in place of old and infirm ones for effectively carrying out the activities of the trust. Looking at the lackadaisical participation of family members, serious apprehension arise on the management of the temple and every member should put their heads together to find a lasting solution. We need your continued support for running the temple, by way of generous contributions, active participation and also deliberations on the future management of the temple.

A brief note on the budget is as follows.
1. Total annual expenses for the temple (including Karthika ulsavam and prathista varshikam)- ₹6,00,000/-
2. Fencing the properties- ₹ 1,25,000/-*(of this approximately ₹45000/- is already incurred in fencing vulnerable portions)
As for finances, it should be possible to motivate at least 120 members to actively co- operate to contribute, and then it comes to only mere ₹6000/- per annum per head.
Personal participation and effective management in the long-term still remains elusive.
I once again request you all to contribute generously, both in terms of money and intellect for the improvement of our temple and also to visit our temple as often as possible, whenever possible ( guest house facilities are available) and get the blessings of our Devi🙏🙏🙏

Please give comments.
