Revival has always been God’s answer to spiritual decline.

The cost of Revival
1. Revival costs personal repentance. James encourages us in Ch. 4, to draw near to God and he will draw near to us. To purify our hearts; that times of refreshing comes our way.

2. Revival costs deep intimacy with God
In the life-story of Evan Roberts, God spent years preparing the man before He transformed the nation; through him. He calls us to times of great intimacy.

3. Revival costs complete surrender
Revival always asks for everything. Jesus raised standards, He never lowered the price. God’s presence rests where Self has surrendered.

4. Revival costs humility
God revives the humble and resists the proud. Every revivalist discovered the greatest enemy wasn’t Satan, but self.

5. Revival costs perseverance
Galatians 6,9 reminds us to not grow weary in doing good. For more times of prayer; as prayer prepares us and positions willing people.

The rewards of revival
- Revival produces transformation of lives and Culture.

- Revival restores the church. The greatest reward being God’s Mighty Presence.

- Revival demonstrates God’s Power. He confirms the word through accompanying signs.

- Revival leaves lasting impact and a legacy.

Revival begins when His people become available. The greater question being are we willing to embrace the cost?
