సూర్యాపేట : యాదవుల కులదైవంగా పేరొందిన సూర్యాపేట జిల్లా కు సమీపంలోని దురాజ్‌పల్లి లింగమంతుల (పెద్దగట్టు) జాతర ఆదివారం అంగరంగ వైభవంగా ప్రారంభమై కొనసాగుతుంది. ఓ లింగా నామస్మరణతో, మహిళల శివాలతో, కాళ్ల గజ్జెలు, బేరీల చప్పుళ్లతో, కత్తులు, త్రిశూలాల విన్యాసాలతో అర్ధరాత్రి సమయంలో సూర్యాపేట మండలం కేసారం గ్రామం నుంచి దేవరపెట్టె, బోనం గంపను గుట్టపైకి తీసుకొచ్చారు. ఆలయం చుట్టూ ప్రదక్షిణలు చేసి దేవరపెట్టెలో ఉన్న దేవతామూర్తులను ఆలయంలో ప్రతిష్ఠించారు. దీంతో జాతర అధికారికంగా ప్రారంభమైంది.
