FPCGI CHAIRMAN VISIT REPORT
Two-Day Visit to the FPCGI Churches in South Gujarat
Despite his health challenges, the Chairman of the Fellowship, Dr. Matthew K. Thomas, responded to the repeated requests of the Fellowship Board and prayerfully decided to visit several churches in South Gujarat. By road the travel was about 600 km.
1. Surat
Accompanied by Pastor Nikhil Raj Gupta, the Fellowship Coordinator, he arrived at Surat Railway Station at 8:00 a.m., where they were warmly received by Pastor Raju K. Thomas, a senior servant of God who has faithfully ministered in the region for over four decades and has mentored more than seventy churches. After a brief time of fellowship and breakfast at Pastor Raju’s residence, the team prayerfully proceeded to the Pastors’ Conference at Ghoda.

2. Ghoda
At Ghoda, the team was graciously welcomed by Pastor V. A. Thomaskutty, the General Secretary of the Fellowship, who was addressing the gathering on the practical aspects of pastoral ministry. Dr. Thomas then exhorted the assembly of over one hundred pastors and church elders from Psalm 115:14 and Psalm 90:14, emphasizing the indispensable role of the Holy Spirit and the Word of God in sustaining the personal and ministerial life of every servant of Christ.

3. Moti Khervan
Following the conference, the team shared a gracious meal at the home of Pastor Babu Bhai and took rest at the residence of Pastor Vinod Bhai in Moti Khervan. At 4:00 p.m.

4. Dang
The delegation proceeded to Jamnia Church in the Dang region, under the leadership of Pastor Ramach Bhai. This vibrant congregation of about 600 believers, along with five associated village churches, joyfully received the guests. The Chairman delivered a message of comfort and blessing from Nahum 1:7 and Ephesians 1:3, encouraging the believers to remain steadfast in the Lord’s goodness and spiritual inheritance.

5. Boripada
Thereafter, the team journeyed to Boripada to meet Pastor Sonu Bhai, whose congregation of over 300 believers oversees six nearby fellowships. During a brief worship service, the foundation stone for a new church building was laid by the Chairman, with the participation of senior pastors and local leaders—marking a moment of hope and growth for the region’s ministry.

6. Khogalagam
The next stop was Khogalgam, where Pastor Vijay ministers to a congregation that gathers in a humble clay-and-bamboo church. Here, Dr. Thomas shared a message of divine enlargement and spiritual dependence from 1 Chronicles 4:10, reminding the believers that God honors those who trust in Him wholeheartedly.

7. Medhsingi
The team then visited Medhsingi, where Pastor Thakur Gavit shepherds a congregation of over 400 believers. The Chairman encouraged the gathering from 2 Corinthians 5:17, Psalm 16, and Psalm 27:14, calling them to live as new creations in Christ, anchored in hope and renewed strength for the year ahead.

The first day concluded with the team returning to Pastor Vinod Bhai’s residence in Moti Khervan at 9:30 p.m., after a day filled with ministry, fellowship, and thanksgiving.
Day 2: Visit to Piramal (Dharampur, Valsad District)
On the second day, the team visited Piramal Church in Dharampur, where Pastor Raju leads a congregation of about 200 believers with five surrounding fellowship churches. Dr. Thomas ministered from Zephaniah 3:17, highlighting the joy of the Lord’s presence among His people.
Addressing the pastors and elders, he spoke from Psalm 133, emphasizing the power and beauty of unity in Christ’s body—a unity that strengthens the witness of the Church and advances the mission of God in South Gujarat.
The journey concluded with much gratitude to God for His sustaining grace, the faithfulness of His servants, and the continued growth of His Church in this region.
