Molvi Imran Ansari Urges Complete Facilities for Eid Milad-un-Nabi (SAWW)
Srinagar, 24th Aug 26: JKPC General Secretary and President All J&K Shia Association, Molvi Imran Reza Ansari, has urged Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah to ensure comprehensive arrangements and facilities for the peaceful and dignified observance of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (SAWW) across Jammu and Kashmir.
Molvi Imran Ansari said that the birth anniversary of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAWW), the mercy sent by Allah for all worlds, is an occasion of immense spiritual significance for the entire Ummah. The Prophet (SAWW) stands as the embodiment of mercy, compassion, justice, patience, brotherhood and guidance for humanity.
He urged the administration to make adequate arrangements at all major venues where Milad programmes, congregations and processions will be held, with special attention to Hazratbal Sharief, Srinagar, besides other major religious centres, Imam Bargahs, mosques and designated programme locations across the Valley.
He called upon the administration to ensure close coordination among the concerned departments, particularly the Jammu and Kashmir Police, Traffic Police, Health and Medical Education Department, Jal Shakti Department, Power Development Department, Srinagar Municipal Corporation and other Urban Local Bodies, Roads & Buildings Department, Fire & Emergency Services, Transport Department and District Administrations.
He specifically stressed adequate traffic management, uninterrupted electricity and water supply, sanitation and cleanliness, medical and ambulance facilities, emergency response arrangements, adequate lighting, parking and pedestrian management, deployment of sufficient security personnel, and proper arrangements for drinking water and public convenience facilities.
“Eid Milad-un-Nabi is not merely a celebration; it is a reminder of the universal message of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAWW), whose life taught humanity mercy, justice, dignity, compassion and peaceful coexistence. The administration must ensure that devotees are provided every necessary facility so that the occasion is observed with due reverence and dignity,” Molvi Imran Ansari said.
He also appealed to the administration to ensure special arrangements at Hazratbal Sharief, where thousands of devotees are expected to gather, and to put in place a coordinated mechanism well in advance to manage the large congregation and the movement of devotees.
Molvi Imran Ansari extended his heartfelt greetings to the Muslim Ummah on the upcoming auspicious occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (SAWW), praying for peace, unity, prosperity and the well-being of the people of Jammu and Kashmir and the entire Ummah.
