*Five Year Old girl hit by sumo, dies on spot*

>>> A five year old girl died on the spot in a road accident near Bomai Sopore Saturday evening.
According to police five year old Urooja Ali daughter of Ali Mohammad Bhat a resident of Bomai Sopore was killed when she was crossing the road after getting down from a car. A speedy Sumo hit the kid leaving her dead on the spot.
Police officials at Bomai police station told that they have seized the vehicle while the driver escaped from the spot. Police have registered an FIR in this case, they said.

Srinagar: Militant killed after an encounter broke out between Militant and government forces in Bijbehara area of Anantnag district in south Kashmir on Wednesday morning.

Sources identified Militant as Basit of Madhahama Village.

More details awaited.

Residents of Bhatpora, Arampora, Chinkipora,Chankhan and Kranshivan Colony of Sopore town hide transformers with sand bags.It is Pertinently, that forces damaged 4 electricity transformers at Kranshivan area of Sopore town few days ago when a pro-protest rally was held at Panzipora area .Residents alleged that forces on that day not only damaged public property but also attacked electricity transformers in the area.
