First and foremost, all thanks to Allah, whose فضل and mercy made this day possible. Countless blessings and peace be upon our beloved Prophet ﷺ, whose teachings continue to guide my path.
Today, as I receive this gold medal, my heart is filled not with pride, but with gratitude. This achievement is not mine alone—it belongs to my parents, whose sacrifices I can never fully repay. My father, Shaykh Abdul Rashid Dawoodi, who would wake me after Fajr and patiently teach me, shaping my foundation with discipline and sincerity. I truly believe whatever I have learned or achieved today is rooted in those early mornings. And my mother, whose duas, encouragement, and silent strength carried me through every difficulty. I am blessed beyond words to have parents who invested their time, energy, and resources so I could seek knowledge and one day serve the Ummah.
A special thanks to Mr. Shakir Ahmed Bhat Sahab—for his unwavering support, guidance, and love. You have been more than an uncle; you have been a mentor and a true friend. May Allah bless you abundantly.
I remain deeply grateful to all my teachers—from my childhood days with Arif Sir, to my time in Kerala with Muhibullah Usthad, and then my transformative years in Delhi. Those three years were not just about education, but growth—learning skills, gaining knowledge, building character, and forming lifelong bonds. I am especially thankful to Dr. Fazrul Rehman Sir, Dr. Waris Mazhari Sir, and all those who guided me toward the right path.
Alhamdulillah, my journey was not limited to books. Living away from home taught me life skills—yes, even cooking for myself. Because a طالب علم must be more than academically strong; he must be capable, adaptable, and prepared for life.
To my dear friends—Adil, Raza, Huzaifa, Marifath—thank you for standing by me in every high and low, motivating me when I needed it most. This medal belongs to you all as much as it belongs to me.
Today, I stand as a gold medalist🥇 , but I know not everyone is born with ease. We must build our own strength, our own “golden spoon,” through hard work, sincerity, and intention. If our niyyah is for the sake of Allah, He will open doors in ways we cannot imagine—just as He helped in the Battle of Badr.
I strongly believe that it is the responsibility of parents to provide the best education to their children—even if it demands sacrifice—because knowledge brings wisdom, sustenance, and honor.
This is not the end, but the beginning. I humbly request your duas as I embark on a new journey at Al-Azhar University. May Allah grant me strength, sincerity, and the ability to serve my people in Kashmir and the Ummah at large.
