"Alcohol is the mother of all evils.

Whoever drinks it, his prayers will not be accepted for forty days.

And if he dies while it is in his stomach, he dies the death of ignorance (Jahiliyyah.).

The big toe (or hallux) is a structural masterpiece, serving as a cornerstone of human mobility, balance, and specialized anatomy. Often overlooked, it acts as a powerhouse, handling significant forces to facilitate walking, running, and upright posture.
A Structural and Functional Powerhouse

1) Propulsion Force: The big toe provides nearly 40–60% of the force required to push off the ground during walking and running.

2) Weight Bearing: It is designed to handle immense pressure, often bearing two to three times the body's weight during high-impact movement.

3) Unique Anatomy: Unlike the other toes, which have three, the big toe has only two sturdier bones (phalanges) and is supported by a dedicated, strong muscle (the flexor hallucis longus) that runs from the leg.

4) Arch Support: It works with the foot’s intrinsic muscles to create a stable, rigid lever (the "windlass mechanism") that stiffens the arch, providing stability.

5) A "Brain-Connected" Digit -- The big toe is so vital for bipedalism (walking on two legs) that it has its own dedicated space in the brain's sensory and motor cortex. This unique neural connection enables refined control of balance.
