Every Soul Shall Taste Death 🕊️ | Surah Aal-Imran 3:185
"Every soul shall taste death..." — a powerful reminder from the Qur’an 🕊️
This world is temporary, but the Hereafter is eternal. True success is not in wealth or fame, but in being saved from the Fire and entering Jannah. 🌿

Al-Baqarah 2:44

This verse is a warning against hypocrisy—telling others to do what is right while neglecting those same duties yourself.

It does not mean a person must be perfect before advising others. Rather, it reminds us that our actions should match our words. If we encourage honesty, prayer, kindness, or good character, we should also strive to practice those qualities ourselves.

Key lessons

1) Practice what you preach:

Advice has greater value when it is reflected in one's own behavior.

2) Self-accountability comes first:

Before criticizing others, examine your own actions and shortcomings.

3) Knowledge brings responsibility:

The verse specifically mentions people who know and recite scripture. Knowing what is right increases one's responsibility to act upon it.

4) Avoid hypocrisy:

The gap between what we say and what we do can harm both ourselves and those who look to us for guidance.
