With profound sorrow, Idara Masjid Iqra expresses heartfelt condolences on the passing of Ghulam Qadir Sahib of Saraibala, who passed away today, 9 December 2025.

His Namaz-e-Janaza will be offered at 11:00 AM in the courtyard of Masjid Iqra, InshaAllah.

May Almighty Allah grant him the highest ranks in Jannat, forgive his shortcomings, and envelop him in His infinite mercy. Aameen.

إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ

District Football Association Srinagar deeply mourns the passing of Mr. Nizam-ud-Din Wani, Former Sports Officer YSS and founder of DFA Bandipora.

He was a visionary sports administrator who played a key role in developing football in Bandipora. From leading the Sports Association Bandipora in 1991 to securing DFA Bandipora’s affiliation with JKFA in 2008, his contributions were remarkable. A humble, dedicated sports enthusiast, he inspired countless players and administrators.

We pray to Allah (SWT) to grant him Jannat-ul-Firdous and forgive his shortcomings. Heartfelt condolences to his family, especially Dr. Parvaiz Ahmad Wani.
