Sri sridevi bhudevi sametha SriVaikuntanadha Swami Temple in Satyavedu Constituency near Srikalahasti was consecrated on the lines of Paancharathra and Vaishnava tradition! The deities in the temple were consecrated by 9th century Pallava Maharaja Nandivarman (in the year 888BC). The deities were inspected and confirmed by sculptors and the Archaeology Department of Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanam and Srikalahasti! Similar deities have been excavated in few places of Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu as well! These deities were worshipped by 9th century Nandivarman, Aparajitha Varman, 12th century Cholaraja Kullothunga Chola, 13th century Pandya Raju Veerapandya Kattabomman. The temple for these powerful deities was built in the year 1977 by the villagers. When the temple was in state of despair, the former chairman of Srikalahasti temple Sri Anand Kumar Kola gaaru along with other villagers decided to renovate the temple. With grit and determination Sri kola Anand Kumar gaaru held series of meetings with the villagers of Kaatrapali about the renovation of the temple and eventually succeeded in developing it into a Shrine, building Sanctum Sanctorum , Dwajasthambam (flagstaff), Hall , compound wall and providing it with electricity and water supply.
