A Moment of Gratitude and Remembrance

The felicitation of Lt. Cath.Gambu Lepcha by the Tendong Lho Rumfat Celebration Committee 2026 at Manan Kendra, Gangtok, was truly a special and meaningful occasion for us at Fambong EPCS Church.

We sincerely thank the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Sikkim, Mr. Prem Singh Tamang,the esteemed members of the Sikkim Legislative Assembly,and all distinguished dignitaries for honouring this important legacy.

Lt. Cath. Gambu Lepcha is remembered as a pioneer member with the establishment of Phambong Church, now Fambong Church,and with the introduction of early education alongside the Scottish Missionaries during the 1880s, including the establishment of the Mission School.

His faith, courage, devotion, and service remain a testimony to the generations that followed. What was begun in faith continues to bear fruit today.

We are deeply grateful to the Tendong Lho Rumfat Celebration Committee 2026 for recognising and honouring this heritage. May we continue to preserve the legacy of our forefathers and remain faithful to the work they began.

Teenagers Day 2026 | Fambong EPCS

Today, we joyfully celebrated Sunday Divine Service along with Teenagers Day 2026 at Fambong EPCS in the presence of God,Pastors,Elders & the congregation

We were blessed by an inspiring sermon from Mr. Samuel Tasho, encouraging our young people.

"May this generation be the voice for God's work—in our church, our community, our state,our nation. May they boldly reflect Christ's love and truth wherever they go."

May God continue to guide and empower every teenager to be a light in the world. ✨🙏

Thank you for your love, patience, prayers, and faithful service. Your time, encouragement, and the Word of God you have sown into the lives of our teenagers are a priceless investment in God’s Kingdom.

Today marks the beginning of Teens Week at Fambong EPCS. We warmly welcome all our teenagers & their friends to a week filled with faith, fellowship, learning, fun, and spiritual growth.

Installation of Waste Segregation Dustbins at Fambong EPCS

As per the letter received from the Government of Sikkim, Office of the District Collector-cum-District Magistrate, Soreng District,dated 15 June 2026,and in accordance with the Solid Waste Management Rules,the installation of waste segregation dustbins has been initiated at Fambong EPCS under the guidance of Upper Thambong GPK.

The installation was carried out in the presence of:
1.Mr. P. T. Lepcha– LCC Vice President
2.Mrs. Sukmit Tasho– Panchayat Member, Upper Thambong GPU Ward no 7.
3.Mr. James F. Lepcha – Sachiva (SR VAA),Upper Thambong GPU
4.PPMA representative
5.Mrs. Man Maya Subba– Coordinator, Jan Kalyan Prakosta (Sponsor of the dustbins)

We sincerely thank everyone for their support and cooperation. We request all members to kindly use the designated dustbins responsibly by checking the labels before disposing of waste, thereby helping us maintain a clean and environmentally friendly church campus.

Women's Guild Organizes Morning Counselling Session for the Younger Generation

In a meaningful initiative to strengthen the spiritual and moral foundation of the younger generation, the Women's Guild organized a short morning counselling session for Sunday School students, teenagers, teachers, and their guardians.
The session served as a platform to encourage open communication between children, youth, parents, and teachers while emphasizing the shared responsibility of nurturing young lives in the fear and knowledge of God. Special attention was given to the vital role of parents and guardians in providing godly guidance, instilling Godly values, and walking alongside their children through every stage of life.

Father's Day 2026

Surrounded by God's grace and blessings, Father's Day 2026 was joyfully celebrated with an inspiring sermon delivered by Pastor Yozun Sherpa. The occasion was followed by a special felicitation program and meaningful fellowship organized by the Men's Guild. We thank God for all fathers and father figures whose love, guidance, and faith continue to strengthen our families and communities. May God richly bless them and grant them wisdom, strength, and good health in the years ahead.
