e. It was founded on 29th April 1948 by Revered Saint "Shah Mastana Ji Maharaj". The headquarters of this organization is in Sirsa, Haryana (Northern India). This organization strives to serve/assist every segment of society wholeheartedly, unconditionally and globally. More than 65 million people around the world are faithful followers of the holy organization. Dera Sacha Sauda is a hub of spiritualism where spiritual and humanitarian values are infused in everyone that eventually make them true humans who help others and try to remove the pains that people are suffering from. The purpose behind the establishment of this organization was to make this earth a beautiful place to live by encouraging spiritual awakening, connecting people to Almighty, providing a way to true salvation, removing all issues, worries and uplifting humanity. The founder Sai 'Shah Mastana Ji Maharaj' hailed from Balochistan (now in Pakistan). His Holiness sowed the seed of spirituality in the hearts of millions and transformed the barren lands into lavishing spiritual garden that has been spreading the fragrance of positivity, brotherhood and selfless love (humanity) all around since its inception. By imparting the true ‘Method of Meditation’, Sai Ji taught the way to salvation from not just the problems of this world but true salvation (Moksha) after death as well. At the request of Sai Ji, Sawan Shah Ji Maharaj (Spiritual Master of Sai Ji) sanctioned the holy slogan “Dhan Dhan Satguru Tera Hi Aasra.” It is a common slogan that people belonging to any religion can chant and extend gratitude to the supreme power. It means that only ‘Satguru’ (a synonym to Om, Bhagwan, Allah, Waheguru, God etc. ) is worth praising, He can help us deal with any challenge and we are solely dependent on Him. By preaching about brotherhood, truth, humanity, and spirituality, His Holiness united people and showcased the right path to live. After completing the spiritual journey, Sai Shah Mastana Ji Maharaj handed over the reign of this organization (Dera Sacha Sauda) to the Second Spiritual Master, "Param Pita Shah Satnam Singh Ji Maharaj" on 28th February 1960. Revered Param Pita Shah Satnam Singh Ji Maharaj took birth on the holy land, Sri Jalalana Sahib (Punjab, India), on January 25, 1919. After getting enthroned to the reign of Dera Sacha Sauda, Shah Satnam Singh Ji Maharaj saved lakhs of people from the menace of alcohol, drugs, smoking, non-vegetarian, superstition etc. and connected them to Almighty’s name in the tenure of thirty years. Also, His Holiness wrote heaps of spiritual books and composed several hymns that are quite easy to understand and are showcasing the right path to millions today. On September 23, 1990, His Holiness chose ‘Saint Dr. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan’ as the next successor, who is running this spiritual hub currently. On December 13, 1991, Shah Satnam Ji proceeded back to ‘Nij Dham’ (Eternal Abode). Saint Dr. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan aka 'Saint Dr. MSG' incarnated on August 15, 1967, in Sri Gurusar Modia (Dist. Sri Ganganagar, Rajasthan, India). His Holiness connected crores of individuals with supreme power and spread the wave of humanitarianism that is making the world a better place. Saint Dr. MSG initiated 172 welfare works that have been shaping the world and making people realizing of their real purpose in life. The Dera Sacha Sauda volunteers are leading by example and setting perfect paragons of humanity with the inspiration and pious guidance of His Holiness. Through these welfare works, every possible help to the needy is extended in the form of free newly constructed homes, free blood donation, free books, free ration kits, posthumous eyes and body donation, saving girls from female foeticide and prostitution as well and many such works that make people surprised as it’s not easy to imagine it in this self-centered era. People requested Him to open an education hub so that the upcoming generation too can learn ethics and humanity.
