This Great Holy Place (Shri Sangameshwar Mahadev) in ancient times has great importance, the wheel of time made many changes in the Universe and disappearing of Holy places is no wonder. If flow of Holy Sarswati River disappeared in ancient times, then disappearing of Holy places is natural. wati its importance also disappeared. For many years this place remain unknown, Bhagwan Bholeynath was watching silently this change in Universe, where Devtas also greed to came, now still unknown. Then slowly people changed, centuries changed, faith changed but holiness of this place still remains in the some how manner. One time came when there was only one hut was there the Sarover and temple was disappeared. Many Saint, Yogis, Tapasvi came here and stayed here. Once upon a time, a Saint Baba Ganesh Giri ji Maharaj came here with his two students. He was very Tapasvi and Spiritual Saint. One day he realized that some Spiritual Power is residing here, and then he determines to find out it. One day usually he gone through the pass by bushes where he saw a Big Bambi (Dimak Ka Dher) then he dig it with his Chimta and saw a wonderful Pind of Stone. He wondered and started more digging to get it full and want to carry with him, but that Pind (Stone) has no end after many tries he became tired and gone back to his hut. As he was a pure hearten he gets dream and Bhagwan Shiv influenced him and told him I am (Pind) is not belongs to today, many Yogi, Saints, Kings got my devotion. I am timeless and endless SHIV don’t try to carry me with you just make my place known and make devotion’s life live again. Suddenly, he wake up and in the dark night he gone at that place and saw a Big Snake (Naagraja) having Diamond on his head (Mani) was sitting on Blood colored Pind (Stone) then he realized that it is Shakshat Shivlingam and then he bow his head towards the Lingam and Snake was disappeared. Then Baba Ganesh Giri ji Maharaj prayed to Bholeynath ji that forgive him as he was unknown to this Lingam and now he is in his (SHIVJI) shelter and he will serve him (SHIVJI) as per his capacity. Then he made a Chabutra to worship of Mahadev and slowly with influence of Mahadevji he made a small temple here. He lived and worshiped Mahadevji here till his death after his death his two students served Mahadevji. Now today Samadhis (Tomb) of both the students and their Master has situated in the Temple in the form of Shiv Lingams. Before this storey as per Shahtras once Holy River get Sharapit and became blood colored then Bhagwan Bholeynath came here for salvation of Sarswati River and stayed here in Lingam form for the salivation of World. Many Saint, Yogi, Rishi , Munni, Tapasvi, Bhagat Prihalaad , Pandevs and many kings came here for the worship of Swabhu Bholeynath Ji. Now, we can feel and realize presence of Bhagwan Shiv in the temple while we see the Shivlingam we feels spiritual energy which destroy our all sins and make us real devotional. Many times as Naagraja come in temple and as he hugs the Shivlingam it seems like Bhagwan Bholeynath Sakshat sitting there and ready to salvation of his devotees. Bhagwan Bholeynath Baba ki Lilla badi hi aprampar hai , who sada hi apney bhagto ka udhar karney ko atur rehtey hai, unko sirf chahiye main say rahit Shardha aur Prem.
