Today dated 27/03/2026, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Sikkim, Prem Singh Golay, was truly blessed and honoured to receive Bishop Edward Baretto, the newly ordained Bishop of the Darjeeling–Sikkim Diocese, who paid a courtesy visit to his official residence.

He was accompanied by Hon’ble Minister G.T. Dhungel, along with Fr. David Yonjan Rai and Fr. Fintan Moktan.

During the visit, the Hon’ble Chief Minister felt deeply humbled to receive the Letter of Acknowledgement and Gratitude. With a heart full of thanksgiving, he acknowledged this gesture as a true reflection of Christian fellowship, unity, and love in Christ.

He sincerely appreciated the warmth, goodwill, and blessings extended, and expressed his heartfelt gratitude for this meaningful and faith-filled moment.

May the Almighty continue to guide and bless everyone with peace, wisdom, and unwavering faith. 🙏
