His Eminence Menri Yongdzin Lopon Tenzin Namdak Rinpoche

The sovereign master of the three lineages Sutra, Ta**ra, and Dzogchen, who dedicated his 100 precious years to the preservation and transmission of the sacred teachings of Yungdrung Bon

We come together in prayer and offering, honoring his extraordinary life and carrying forward the light of his timeless teachings.

🙏 May his blessings continue to guide all sentient beings, and may he swiftly return to lead us once more.

On this solemn occasion of Good Friday a day of reflection, compassion, and selfless service the students of Sog Yungdrung Ling Bon Monastery (སོག་གཡུང་དྲུང་གླིང་བོན་པོ་དགོན་པ།།) came together under the guidance of Ven. Khenpo Yonten Gyatso Rinpoche, Sonam Gyaltsen, Gen Dawa Khayab, and Monlam Namdak to uphold a shared responsibility towards our environment along the path from the monastery to the Helipad at Yangang.

Inspired by the values of care, discipline, and respect for all forms of life, we humbly wish to share a gentle message with everyone: kindly refrain from littering. Even if we may not always be able to contribute actively, we can each ensure that we do not make our surroundings unclean.

Sikkim, lovingly known as “Green Sikkim,” is a reflection of our collective effort and awareness. Let us come together with mindfulness and responsibility to preserve its natural beauty and inspire others through our actions.

🙏 An incredible story of compassion and education from Sog Yungdrung Ling Monastery!

This monastery is home to 70 children (110 registered in total) from poor and broken families, some orphans, some whose parents simply cannot afford to care for them. Under the guidance of their devoted leader, these children receive full education, food, clothing, and most importantly, love. ❤️

Children join as young as 4 or 5 years old and are supported all the way through to a Master's degree by age 25. Both boys AND girls study equally, from mathematics to Tibetan language to Buddhist practices. 📚

The monastery just celebrated its 10th Anniversary 🎉, welcoming the 34th Menri Trizin and other distinguished guests to witness the incredible progress these children have made.

The leader's words say it all: some of these children call him "Papa" and wish him Happy Father's Day. He treats every single one of them as his own. 🥹
