𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐁𝐈𝐑𝐓𝐇 𝐎𝐅 𝐊𝐇𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐑𝐎 𝐑𝐈𝐍𝐏𝐎𝐂𝐇𝐄🙏🥹☸️
It was just before dawn on the morning of August 19,1967, in the tiny Himalayan Kingdom of Sikkim on the northern edge of India. On the lush mountainside above the mist-filled valley lay the old monastery built by the ninth Karmapa, called Rumtek, "the monastery wreathed in a thousand rays of rainbow light." His Holiness the Sixteenth Karmapa, patriarch of the Karma Kagyu lineage, stood out on the veranda overlooking the valley, enjoying the many colored birds who awakened with cheerful song. Just at 5:10 a.m, when the sun punctured the sky with rays of light, His Holiness suddenly sent his attendent for a small bowl of white rice. Taking the bowl in his hands, he murmured prayers of praise to the dawn, tossing rice at the close of each stanza. He turned to his attendent and jubilantly announced, "Khandro Ugyen Tsomo has been reborn“!!
Just at that moment of dawn, in a village sixty kilometres away, a baby girl was born to Sonam Paldron, wife of His Holiness Mindrolling Rinpoche one of the most eminent tulkus of the Nyingma lineage of Tibet. The line of Mindrolling has been filled with celebrated yoginis, and it was fitting that the baby girl be born to this lineage. The infant was the emanation of Khandro Ugyen Tsomo, a deeply realized nun and renowned abbess of the nunnery at Tsurphu in Tibet. As a young woman Ugyen Tsomo had been the prophesied consort of the fifteenth Karmapa, Khakhyab Dorje. As an elderly nun, she had escaped from Tibet with the Sixteenth Karmapa and had settled into the nunnery at Rumtek with her many devotees.
Mindrolling Rinpoche was a close friend of the Karmapa and thought nothing of the special visit he paid to his newborn daughter conferring on her the name Karma Ugyen Tsomo. But after consulting Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche, the Karmapa confirmed with her father that the child was an enlightened emanation of the yogini. When the girl was ten months old, an official announcement of the yogini's rebirth was quietly made public and, several monks from Rumtek came to pay their respects. The Karmapa himself came yearly to give her empowerments and teachings.

དེ་ནི་༡༩༦༧ ལོའི་ཟླ་༨ ཚེས་༡༩ ཉིན་རྒྱ་གར་བྱང་ཕྱོགས་ཀྱི་ཧི་མ་ལ་ཡའི་རྒྱལ་ཁབ་ཆུང་ཆུང་སི་ཀིམ་ནང་ཞོགས་པ་སྔ་པོར་ཤར་བ་རེད། སྨུག་པས་ཁེངས་པའི་ལུང་གཤོངས་ཀྱི་རི་འདབས་སུ་ཀརྨ་པ་དགུ་པས་བཞེངས་པའི་རུམ་ཊེག་དགོན་པ་རྙིང་པ་དེ་ཡོད་པ་དང་། དེར་འཇའ་ཚོན་གྱི་འོད་སྟོང་ཕྲག་གིས་བརྒྱན་པའི་དགོན་པ་ཞེས་གྲགས། ཀརྨ་བཀའ་བརྒྱུད་ཀྱི་བླ་ཆེན་ཀརྨ་པ་བཅུ་དྲུག་པ་མཆོག་ལུང་གཤོངས་ལ་མཐོང་བའི་བར་ཁྱམས་ཕྱི་རོལ་ཏུ་བཞུགས་ཏེ་དགའ་སྤྲོའི་གླུ་དབྱངས་ཀྱིས་གཉིད་སད་པའི་བྱ་རིགས་སྣ་ཚོགས་ལ་རོལ་བཞིན་ཡོད། ཞོགས་པའི་ཆུ་ཚོད་༥:༡༠ ཐོག་ཉི་མ་ནམ་མཁར་ཤར་བ་དང་བསྟུན་ནས་ཀརྨ་པ་མཆོག་གིས་གློ་བུར་དུ་ཞབས་ཞུ་བ་ཞིག་ལ་འབྲས་དཀར་གྱི་ཕོར་པ་ཆུང་ཆུང་ཞིག་བསྣམས་དགོས་པའི་བཀའ་བཏང་། ཕོར་པ་དེ་ཕྱག་ཏུ་བསྣམས་ནས་སྨོན་ལམ་བཏབ་སྟེ་ཚིགས་བཅད་རེ་རེའི་མཇུག་ཏུ་འབྲས་དཀར་གཏོར། དེ་ནས་ཞབས་ཞུ་བ་དེར་བལྟས་ཏེ་དགའ་སྤྲོའི་ངང་ནས་གསུངས་པ།" མཁའ་འགྲོ་ཨུ་རྒྱན་མཚོ་མོ་སླར་ཡང་སྐུ་འཁྲུངས་སོང་།" ཞེས་གསུངས།
དེ་དང་དུས་མཚུངས་སུ་སི་ཀིམ་ནས་ཀི་ལོ་མི་ཊར་དྲུག་ཅུ་ཙམ་གྱི་སར་ཡོད་པའི་གྲོང་གསེབ་ཅིག་ཏུ་སོ་ནམ་པལ་དྲོན་གྱི་བུ་མོ་ཆུང་ཆུང་ཞིག་སྐྱེས་པ་རེད། ཁོང་ནི་རྙིང་མ་བརྒྱུད་པའི་མཁས་དབང་སྨིན་གྲོལ་གླུང་ཁྲི་ཆེན་རིན་པོ་ཆེའི་བཟའ་ཟླ་ཡིན། སྨིན་གྲོལ་བརྒྱུད་པའི་ནང་དུ་གྲུབ་ཐོབ་མ་མང་པོ་བྱོན་ཡོད་པས་བུ་མོ་ཆུང་ཆུང་དེ་བརྒྱུད་པ་འདིར་སྐྱེ་བ་བཞེས་པ་ནི་འོས་ཤིང་འཚམས་པ་ཞིག་རེད། བྱིས་པ་དེ་ནི་བོད་ཀྱི་གཙུག་ལག་ཁང་ཚུར་ཕུ་ནས་བྲོས་བྱོལ་དུ་ཕེབས་པའི་གྲུབ་ཐོབ་མ་མཁའ་འགྲོ་མ་ཨུ་རྒྱན་མཚོ་མོའི་ཡང་སྲིད་རེད། ཁོང་གཞོན་ནུའི་དུས་སུ་ཀརྨ་པ་བཅོ་ལྔ་པ་ཁ་ཁྱབ་རྡོ་རྗེའི་ལུང་བསྟན་དང་མཐུན་པའི་བཙུན་མོ་ཡིན་པ་དང་། རྒན་མོའི་སྐབས་སུ་ཀརྨ་པ་བཅུ་དྲུག་པ་དང་མཉམ་དུ་བོད་ནས་བྲོས་བྱོལ་དུ་ཕེབས་ཏེ་རུམ་ཊེག་དགོན་པར་དད་ལྡན་མང་པོ་དང་མཉམ་དུ་བཞུགས་པ་རེད།
སྨིན་གྲོལ་གླིང་ཁྲི་ཆེན་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་ནི་ཀརྨ་པའི་གྲོགས་པོ་ཉེ་པོ་ཞིག་ཡིན་པས་ཁོང་གིས་བུ་མོ་གསར་སྐྱེས་དེར་མཚན་གསོལ་བའི་སྐོར་ལ་བསམ་བློ་ཞིབ་ཏུ་བཏང་མེད། འོན་ཀྱང་དིལ་མགོ་མཁྱེན་བརྩེ་རིན་པོ་ཆེ་ལ་བཀའ་འདྲི་ཞུས་རྗེས། ཀརྨ་པས་ཁོང་གི་ཕ་ལ་བྱིས་པ་དེ་གྲུབ་ཐོབ་མ་ཞིག་གི་ཡང་སྲིད་ཡིན་པ་ངེས་བརྟན་བྱེད་དུ་བཅུག བུ་མོ་དེ་ཟླ་བ་བཅུ་ཐམ་པའི་སྐབས་སུ་ཁོང་གི་ཡང་སྲིད་ཀྱི་གསལ་བསྒྲགས་དངོས་སུ་བྱས་པ་དང་། རུམ་ཊེག་དགོན་པ་ནས་གྲྭ་པ་འགའ་ཤས་ཕེབས་ཏེ་མཇལ་དར་ཕུལ། ཀརྨ་པ་མཆོག་ལོ་ལྟར་ཕེབས་ནས་དབང་དང་གདམས་པ་གནང་གི་ཡོད།"
