Today, I find myself standing at a beautiful milestone. When I look back at the tapestry of my life, I don't just see time passing; I see a brilliant mosaic of faces, sacrifices, and love. My heart is completely full, and I felt a deep need to pause and honor the hands that have shaped my soul.
To the Author of My Life
Above all, I lift my eyes to God, the ultimate Author of my story. Thank you for the gift of life, for Your unmerited grace, and for holding me close through every mountain and valley of these past 35 years. You have been my anchor when the seas were rough, a lamp unto my feet when the path was dim, and the source of every single blessing I hold dear. I am because You are, and I commit this next chapter entirely into Your hands.
To the Root of My Story: My Family
To my Parents: My cup is running over with gratitude for you. You gave me life, but more importantly, you gave me a foundation of faith and love. Every sacrifice you made is etched into the man I am today. While the turbulence you are going through is keeping us on edge, we continue to live as you have taught us--on our knees.
To my Younger Sisters: We shared the innocent days of childhood, and watching you grow has been one of my life’s greatest joys. Thank you for your fierce loyalty and for always keeping my heart young.
To my Beautiful Wife and Two Precious Daughters: You are my "why." My heart’s safe harbor. You are the warmth I come home to and the brightest light in my world. Being a husband and a father to our girls is the greatest honor of my existence.
To my In-Laws: Thank you for opening your hearts and homes to me so unconditionally. You didn't just welcome me; you made me truly feel like a son and brother.
To the Keepers of my Youth: Teachers & Friends
I am the sum of the lessons learned and the friendships forged in the halls of my youth. To the mentors who guided me and the friends who stayed by my side through every chapter, thank you. My time at these institutions shaped not just my mind, but my character:
The beginnings at Flaiz Adventist High School & AIIAS Junior Academy
The formative years at Adventist University of the Philippines & Spicer Memorial College
The closing chapters of my education at Andrews University
To the mentors, colleagues, and friends from every place I have worked:
Thank you for believing in my potential. Beyond the professions and the projects, it is the shared laughter, the mutual support, and the human connections that I carry with me.
I've learned that...life is not measured by the years we live, but by the love we receive and give away. As I step into this next season, I carry a piece of each of you in my heart. Thank you for making my life a beautiful journey worth celebrating.
